To be fair they're badass back when clouds a noobs before the the introduction of super soldier demi god sephiroth and back when everyone had summons like chocobo chick and carbuncle. So it makes sense they seem like jokes when sephiroth clones show with same potential as cloud show up.

You guys do know that Cloud is technically a "super soldier" right? Just like Captain America, although I'd say Cloud is far stronger. His physical capabilities exceed those of a normal human being because of the experiments done on him by Shinra. The shocker here is not that he can land perfectly after falling out of the sky or get thrown into the sky to begin with, but the fact that he can literally slice a dragon in half.

Fairly sure he can fly, like Sephiroth but a lesser version, would explain the wonky jumps he pulls off in the movie plus he does actually start flying with Omnislash version 5/6.

Well... Cloud moves in motion where Tifa simply added the force to the same motion and not against it... So it make sense... Just like when we play soccer... Our friend already kick towards the goal and we were there happened to kick the ball in the same direction adding more force for the ball... Besides... It wasn't just Tifa alone... All of them push Cloud to the Bahamut... Imagine Yufei also did the same despite her petite figure remember? Hahahaha Meanwhile... The child is not moving at all... Not by his own will as well... And the child also against from moving which make it difficult and it makes sense...

To me the high point was the end of Cloud vs Sephiroth with the ominislash, it was a show case of clouds growth and strength as an individual and how he has overcome his demons, but this is also a good point, that I agreed on.

after the main game they begun to limit materia usage as much as possible to avoid further damage to the planetary energy , thats why you dont see them using magic , they do bring materia with them on the airship just in case but in the end they did not need it .
