I really think this is better than the official remaster. The guitar they added took a lot away from the horns, and some of the melody seems to be lost in it as well. This one is perfect.

Agreed. That version feels very cluttered. This one is the best remake i've heard by far. I even love how this one is calmer in some parts.

X is so underrated. Like, honestly. I get that the voice acting didnt age super well and it was a bit linear when it came to its world exploration, but honestly, neither of those things really bother me. I still think it had a really fun battle system, a REALLY good story with a very likable cast, and an *EXCELLENT* soundtrack. Long story short, X doesnt deserve all the hate. Honestly, its one of my favorite Final Fantasies. Its right up there with VII and VIII imo. (IX is okay but I honestly didnt like it as much as the others, I find it a bit overrated tbh)

IX overrated? Lol, IX is the most underrated game in the franchise even considering that it is Sakaguchi's favourite work, stated by himself. IX got everything X has and more, and without mentioning the linearity in the X game, which isnt good for Final Fantasy games

@@juliocosta2944 Everywhere i go I see people worshipping IX, from my perspective its pretty overrated. And X is a bit linear, yeah, but its still a fine game. Its nowhere near as bad as XIII. Plus unlike XIII, X has a good dtory, good characters, and an actually good in depth battle system. So i dont think its really fair to hold the linearity against it. Admittedly id prefer if X was a little more open ended with the exploration and whatnot, but again, it could be ALOT worse, as XIII clearly demonstrated

@@xxrocketshark216xx4 Whaaaaaat!? Overrated? How dare you insult my favorite game ever!! LOL just kidding. It's fine, everyone has preference, no? For me personally, I cant relate to ffx casts, I dont like most of them. Except the story of Kimahri and Yuna maybe. And then, the story actually has a great base, but then they didnt execute it well, it seems forced. And the love line between tidus and yuna is forced too, i didnt feel anything when i see their love scene. But, there are still a lot of parts of the story that got me goosebumps though. And then the mini game, ff8 and 9 has card games which are fun to do, but blitzball is annoying and i really dont like the blitzball match music either. But then again! I still enjoy playing! It's still more fun than most rpg. It still kept me on the hook and wanted to play from beginning until the end. Battle is fun! I like the sphere grid system too, much more than stupid junction system of ff8. Cant defeat ff9 though... the story is epic. The plot and character development is epic. Music... god, cant say anything more about that. FF9 music is the best. And last, ffXII? Well, at least it has Balthier, I basically kept playing ff12 just to hear his voice and his yummy handsome face~

@@xxrocketshark216xx4 Opinions are subjective. I personally think Final Fantasy 7 is shit, and not the hype everyone made it out to be. Maybe it's because I didn't play it when it came out and only played it later, but the game is crap to me and isn't even that fun or compelling. Final Fantasy 10 for sure has 7 beat as far as my feelings go, and had way more fun characters, better and more fun combat, and the designs and scenery on the game were way better. Now, for 13, I almost feel like you're jumping on the 13-hate bandwagon! The game isn't nearly as bad as it's being made out to be, and I had a hell of a lot of fun playing it, to the point it's up there with Final Fantasy 10 and Final Fantasy 2, for me. Maybe it wasn't for everyone, but to say it's terrible is ridiculous. 13 was really linear, yes, but the visuals and scenery it had were really great, much like Final Fantasy X and were a lot more imaginative and creative than 7. The characters interactions and the character development was really good as well, and the combat was really compelling and really made you feel apart of the battles. The Sentinel roles really made you feel badass.

I like that you don't use entirely orchestra based instruments this, but keep it a nice mix of real instruments and electronic/synthesizer melodies. I always feel that the song's strength (and much of the other selections from FFX) come from the new-age crystal/water instruments used in them.

Lonred Star Normally, the game only lets you get 4 digits in. The maximum of normal damage is 9999. HOWEVER, for Aeons (and characters affected by this very particular Mix that Rikku can cook up,) you break that restriction and go up to five digits, leading to the MAXIMUM maximum damage, 99999. And it’s not too easy to pull off. Requires a lot of prioritizing since the beginning of the game.

It's a great remake, but it's a bit too soft for me. I dunno, it's especially noticeable at 0:49 that the best part just doesn't sound as powerful to me as the original or the official remaster, the latter of which is my favorite version, for the record. Still good stuff though! :)
