The DPS numbers and advise still hold, just the numbers in the chart that are off. Mpaca is basically as bad as the BiS TP sets and Tatenashi in regards to Ranged Accuracy. Sorry for the confusion.

22:45 you have a slight misunderstanding about killer effects. By themselves they DO NOT reduce the damage you take or increase the damage you deal to correlating targets. In order for that bonus to affect damage, you need Founder's Breastplate or Nukumi Gausape. so... Heavy DPS or BST. However, you will have a great bonus from the extra killer effects anytime a killer effects circle ability is used in your party. So Killer instinct, Holy circle, Arcane Circle, Warding Circle, Ancient Circle.

I have a question though, now that Empyrean +3 is out, what is your take on it? Will those pieces replace anything in the TP set or are they used in the other sets? Thanks, new video should be out this week that covers Empy +3, in short the set is VERY useful, more useful than Artifact +3 or Relic +3 (when considering the whole set). All 5 pieces have many uses in BiS end game sets.

@@NextGamesGuide Oh I see ok. So I currently don't have any of the relic or artifact gear for nin. Is it still worth getting some of those pieces or can they eventually be skipped for the empy +3? I take it you will go in depth in that upcoming vid so I'm sure I'll find the answers there :)

@@azredis9947 You will still need some pieces of relic and artifact but it's only a piece here and there for a specific purpose, it's the empy +3 set where all 5 pieces will now be BiS end game in some way or another.

I have a Gleti's Knife which I use for THF, but why is it better to use it on NIN over another katana?

You actually don't lose that much DPS by switching to a dagger over Katana in offhand. It doesn't change your weaponskill options or anything just the accuracy and attack of that offhand hit. And for that minor loss you get some benefits that allow it to shine over the other options. The Triple attack 6%, Critial hit rate 5%, 30 attack paired with it's lower Delay allow you to get TP quicker. Now if you are magic bursting the amount of damage that Kunimitsu will add overcomes these benefits but if your just using straight weaponskills the gleti will get you more overall DPS.

im confused after watching these videos. There are some conflicting gear recommendations unless i missed where it changed. For example: Windbuffet + 1 was mentioned over silifi +1 augmented in another video. Also on the Mantle giving +10 to +tp over +DT mentioned in another video. Any comment on these items would be very helpful as I have them both both im having anxiety on which I should be using (solo play no gearswap currently)

Most the previous videos speaking of windbuffet were from before salifi was allowed to be augmented. Salifi is now hands down winner. Whether you go with +10 STP over +10 DA is actually dependent entirely on the gear set you use. If your using malignance, you want to use store tp, if your using kendatsuba or lesser gear, stp will normally win. Know that either way the difference in dps between them is rather small.

I think you forgot about one thing and actually more relevant too. Nyame B as TP set. Lets face it, everyone will choose B. I would also take C before A if B wouldn't exist :D Nyame B at R25-30 has enough Double attack to actually be a decent for TP. Also question, you added +100 hidden racc bonus to Daken right?

I didn't put it in as I didn't feel it was strong enough as a TP set and I was worried I was already including too many sets. But to answer your question. In trust situation Nyame on path B at R 30 does 2360 DPS, or 100DPS more then Mummu +2 and the same as Mpaca R30. In capped situation it performs even worse and is in part with Mpaca R0 at 4462 DPS and again 100 DPS from Mummu +2. In regards to the ranged acc from Daken, that's a good question. I do believe the spreadsheet accounts for that but I will speak with langly and make sure. Edit: Confirmed with Langly. It does account for the +100 RAcc from Daken.

@@NextGamesGuide I was thinking about Nyame more for a hybrid TP set option, not DPS. Mpaca is ok but has much worse meva. Nyame is pretty much NIN's best tanking set (unless you really need that 20 evasion more from Malignance). So I wouldn't really compare it to Mpaca or Mummu, but to Malignance. Also probably not 5/5 against 5/5, but piece by piece. I would guess the best hybrid might be some mix of Malignace and Nyame maybe.

Wondering why mpaca/nyame r30, since they only go to r25 At this time and it could be months away from r30 and a lot can change by then.

I included it as we already know what the stats are going to be so I wanted to show where it would take us when they are upgraded and if they would be more useful at that time. I also included the R0 versions so you would have an idea of the differences in DPS from it's unaugmented form to most augmented. I'm not going to redo the whole video in a few months when the new augments are released so this was an attempt to keep it relevant for a longer period of time. Additionally, none of the advise or guidance given in the video changes if it's on R25 instead of R30.

Not quite sure why you feel that way as they use the same calculations the game uses but yes all of this has been simulated in game on Apex bats for more hours than I can count. The spreadsheet's findings reflect exactly what is seen in game, even when taking into account MB damage, skill chain damage, switching between mobs etc all of these sets are as close as shown here. All sets perform within about 200 DPS of each other when factoring those in. All the different sets getting between 4800 and 5000 DPS in repeated real world test in trust situations.

If you were aiming for just 1 set i would actually say malignance as you can use it in every situation with minimal dps loss. Hybrid r0 is great but wont work as well on things like omen gods so if only one has to be picked id say full malignance. If no rema then i would suggest A fudo massamune. If you arent high enough yet to equip a su5 weapon then gokotai from ambu is the starting katana i would recommend.
