Let's not get ahead of ourselves -- for the average party looking to clear this, it *isn't* a viable strat. Not having a COR for this encounter (and for endgame encounters in general) is a significant detriment. The other five players here were geared and skilled enough, and had the encounter down to a science, to carry the THF through this -- no way in hell the THF would've even been considered for a spot in the party when this was still a challenge for them.

Are the SV Ballads enough to keep MP up throughout the fight, or does the BLM incorporate AF body to get some MP return on their nukes?

Should be pretty close to it. I'd rather just bring Vile Elixirs if MP is an issue to maximize damage output. Manafont is also an option to restore MP while you nuke for 0 MP as Ballad replenishes your MP pool for the duration. You could even ask for Refresh from your RUN for a little bit more MP as well.

Hey maybe you can answer these questions. I'm kinda going for the same job setup as your triboxing. But would you say triboxing is enough to do all the endgame content? Because I'm in the cusp of just 6 boxing but can't justify paying for 3 more subs. For a 1 hour playtime.

Well, I do have videos of HELM clears and even a Master Trial tribox on this channel, so I'd say triboxing can definitely get you through a lot of content. You'd just be unable to do some of the more difficult content that stretches you for time like v20 Gaol and Dyna W3. If you're asking specifically about RUN SCH GEO's capability to clear endgame content, then I guess you'd be quite a bit more limited on what you can do in a timely manner.

@@Rienfliche thank you for answering. yeah I think it's really cool that you and others are able to tribox lots of things. You kinda hit the mark on it with Dyna W3 and v20s. Building up a team of RUN BRD WHM. I want to get a cor for maybe a quad and then I thought to myself. "Why not just go all out with supports like geo and rdm aswell so you can complete all missions in one go?" But then I remember I typically have only 30-1 hour to play. Then also watch other ffxi youtubers who play nin, blu, rdm and solo with just trusts.. BUT I don't see them do W3 or v20 solo or close to VD on htmb.

Yes, they perform multi-step SCs for mages to burst on. Once they lose too many buffs from Static Prison, the SCH takes over with Tabula Rasa. It's not ideal, but Ihina actually has no geared job aside from THF, so we had to try to fit it in somehow.

@@Rienfliche Big YIKES. Having THF as your only decently-built/geared job is just asking to not do very much in the endgame at all. This player is extraordinarily lucky to have skilled LS mates willing to carry them.

COR would've been the most optimal job to have in that slot, no contest. They were making the encounter that much more difficult for themselves by not having one -- the THF was being carried by very skilled and geared players who had the encounter down to a science, plain and simple.
