Legacy Character with the Tattoo, Shiva,Odin and Omega Emote from the Statues, nearly all the Minions and Orchestrion Rolls from the CD's and Artbooks, Penta Legend, Nearly all Mog Station Outfits and Mounts.....in Short my Character is worth more than i could Scam from people trough Fanfest Tickets. Oh and i dont even wanna Mention al these Friendships i had with so many People. In Short its not worth Risk my Character for a little bit Money.

Looking into this just a little more in depth, it looks like they have more than one character: Yuuniel Nuve (Yunni), Gilgamesh [Aether]: 16038915 -> Yuuniel Nuve, Ramuh [Meteor]: 40029366 Kromix Nuvela (Sume), Gilgamesh [Aether]: 20578417 -> Kromix Nuvela, Ramuh [Meteor]: 40029918 -> Kromix Nuvela, Odin [Light]: 40028636 -> Wind-up Kromix, Lich [Light]: 37117228 All of these characters share the same character model as their mains, although not the same hairstyles were used, the faces are set the exact same way. Lodestone numbers don't change even with a name change, so making note of this would be a good idea. I can only paste lodestone numbers as KZbin's algorithm will automatically delete this comment otherwise. Another character on that came up in the lodestone search for 'Kromix Nuvela' is a female Au'ra -- Kromix Nuvela, Brynhildr [Crystal]: 42844328 As I can't think of anywhere that the name 'Kromix Nuvela' could've been from -- anime, manga or whatever else, it's safe to assume that this is also another alt.

it's definitely not. that sumelegend guy pulled the exact same scam on my friends/FC mates at 2016 fanfest. he was friends with them for years too prior to the incident, even dating one of them at the time. he's a career con artist and he's most likely going to go back into hiding, change his name again, and find a new group of people to repeat with

What have you done legally? Hello everyone I am Eduig. I wanted to write this just to be clear about the actions we have taken. I have talked to an attorney to see my options, and to even enforce a judgement, if we got one, would be extremely difficult. There would have to be some assets that they own (House, Car) that a lien could be put on that we could tie to a lawsuit. If the money they are using to live day to day is someone elses, those assets don't belong to them and we get nothing. I did go to my police department and got a police report written up and made an official complaint with the State Attorney General of their state. Having said all that, this is not considering the cost of hiring an attorney to take the case and file a lawsuit. I thought it would take a month, but you guys showed incredible support for my friends and we cannot express how grateful we are for this community, despite what happened. Thank you all again! Ed, in particular, invested a lot of time and money in FFXIV FanFest. Cosplays, plane tickets, hotels, and Fanfest tickets. However, because of the scammers, Ed and his fiance were stranded at the airport and had to get a last-minute hotel room. I will also not dive too much into detail about it, but a hospital emergency also happened to them. This left Ed spending a ton of money on top of his stolen money. The scammers got away with it, but if there is one thing I want to make right, it's to pay back Ed for everything he and his fiance went through. Please consider helping, and any amount helps. Thank you so much. Please watch the entire video for the whole story. If we can prevent them from doing this again to just ONE person or group, this video would be worth it.

Lie #1: printed tickets. They sent email copies regardless that easily could've been forwarded. Red flag Red flag#2: trying to lie to the hotel. Resorts don't discount children. Vets, yes. But children are just guests Red flag#3: 7am check in. Resorts do 11am or 3pm typically. I ain't even halfway through this and my lie detector overheating

"COD" stands for "Cash On Delivery" meaning paying when they meet up IRL.

Here's a little insight on the hotel side - as a hotel worker, we normally ask for a credit card to guarantee the reservation. In cases where there is a convention going on, they might run the credit card for pre-authorization prior to the guest's arrival to make sure the credit card is valid. Their credit card might have declined when the hotel ran it and was cancelled. Some hotels will give you the courtesy of a call and give you 24 hours to call back with a valid credit card, others don't. Also, hotel check ins are in the afternoon never in the morning.

Their lodestone ID will always stay the same, if you have their lodestone URL. Also if you have them on your friend list, them removing you does nothing. You keep them on your friend list, even if they change their name and change data centers, you can data center hop and find them.

FFXIV won't do anything about this... I had a runin with someone back when Omega just opened.... Scammy GM lifted us for around 200Mil Gil in total (content of the FC-bank, house etc etc etc). We did the same but SE contacted us (and me as 2nd in command at the time) and basically went... "well you trusted your GM to put items in the FC-bank and buy a house as a FC together... we don't involve ourselves in interpersonal relationships when it doesn't concern tampering with the game itself. Also we don't do anything when it comes to stuff that goes on outside of the game" It sucks but I understand it from a legal perspective... HOWEVER That also works both ways.... As 2nd in command and a VERY long time player I made some good contacts with other FC's and lone wolves in general so I told everyone who wanted to hear our stories. The result was that the culprit had to quit FFXIV because there simply wasn't a place that accepted her anymore. She reported me for harrasment multiple times; tried to blackball me with sketchy stories but because of my reputation nobody believed her and "SE doesn't involve themselves in interpersonal-relationships" (even when they become game-wide...) I'm absolutely 100% AGAINST weaponising an audience but I'm not going to stop karmic results from happening either (I really didn't care about the 200 Million; that was sparechange for a multi-alt like myself but I DID care about the good name of the FC; the people who got F'ed out of the items they banked and the total breach in trust) we don't need players taking advantage of others like that in a community... but that community is ALSO our greatest strength (note I said strength and NOT weapon) Good luck.... Dude i was observed as Hell from my Friends cause i got 4 Tickets for EU Fanfest. 2 on my Account and 2 and the Account of my Wife who didnt even playing anymore. I sold 3 tickets to my Static and they quadruple Checked me before i got the Money from them. But we all got seperated Rooms in the same Hostel so no one is stranded. It sucks we had to go trough a Lottery for Tickets. I wish i could met more of my Friends. Only 4/8 from my Static are coming. It was so much easier at the 2017 Fanfest in Frankfurt. I am sorry that this happened. What baffled and troubled me the most, was how the perpetrators dug in their heels and stuck with their own narrative without a hint of hesitation, when confronted with the facts. Perhaps you can send a complaint to SE with all the relevant information, perhaps they will decide to intervene and do something about it. Oh, and on a side note, I think the "CoD' that was mentioned meant "Cash on Delivery".

Yeah, most hotels the default room is for 4 ppl. 2 adult 2 kids. I have yet to see a hotel increase price if you got from 1 adult to 2A 2K. Also most people when room sharing dont tell the hotel about the 4 other people you have sleeping there. You just go to the room in groups if you only have 2 keys. This has been my experience having gone to anime and brony convention for 20 + years.

I showed my sister this video, and we both came to the same conclusion. Report them to the FCC, contact your banks, PayPal, however you sent that money. You have the receipts of what happened through it all, showing proof that you sent money to the scammers, and what they did. Show how they sent fake proof of what was sent to you. Fight back. By saying that you don't want to get a lawyer to pursue this or that shows that people who do these things will get no consequences done to them!

Hey guys thanks for posting this! That's some crazy shit to go through. I wanna share a story. I got almost scammed a few K from a phone con artist who claimed they were tax representatives or some thing crazy like this. I fortunately caught on to the scam BEFORE I sent them any money thank goodness. Yall gotta be really careful with your money and what you purchase/who you sent money to. I wanna remind you guys that you have to be really careful with the money guys! Stay safe you guys make sure you keep fighting the good fight!

The ones who sent money need to open up fraud claims on what ever platform they sent money to. They will get their money back if they file these claims. Money apps don't play around when it comes to this. It will get them banned on those money apps as well. It will then make it harder for them to open up another account with them.

My friend literally went threw a similar situation with a male and a female couple too. Same shit years ago. The couple robed their old fc ppl of thier actual money. They faked dated someone to manipulate them. After the fall out they both harassed several fc members...it was bad..they showed sexual pictures of one person it was disgusting. Yes getting angry and accusing their victims of being in the wrong is the usual M.O of the scam artist. It seems like people ignored all the red flags over their previous actions and how shady just assuming everything is good without proof is and fell right into it. Scam artists love to make grandiose claims about their personal wealth and position to seem more trustworthy, their making promises and going back on them previously was a good sign that they enjoy the attention they get from their claims and promises, just this time they took it a step further because they had gained your trust over a long period. They will only escalate the behaviour now they got away with this, you are best contacting the bank and cops over fraud because that's where you might actually achieve something. All these people talking about bans are living in fantasy land thinking that SE are the school teacher they can tell and get the other kids in trouble, this is well beyond them. Even if you can prove their accounts are connected to the person they won't want to get involved lol.

This comes off as professional scammers after this point. If they don't have to work no more it's likely because they steal from other people. We were in a similar situation having to find last minute arrangements for fanfest because our airbnb had no air conditioning. It was 113 degrees. We got heat sickness walking to the nearest public place to get water and make different arrangements. We got a hotel and spent our whole first day in Vegas recovering. So leaving y'all hanging like that could have potentially been very dangerous.

I'm a second hand embarrassed Texan here. I had a great time at fanfest and I'm sorry yall had a terrible time and got scammed. I don't know how people that know someone for 6+ years can just flip a switch and hurt their 'friends'. Wouldn't be the first time for me either unfortunately. I think their money situation was not as good as they boasted. I think they finally knew they were at the end of their line and ran out of money on their credit card. With a maxed out credit card they couldn't secure the hotel and maybe they were also going to buy tickets at scalping prices but again, their credit limit was just not enough. My theory anyway! Don't take that as truth, but the whole situation sounds all too familiar with this story. Those people always have the same 'stories'. The first thing I did was give my friend from my FC her ticket with her name on it in a PDF, and added her as an authorized user on the hotel room in case I had to cancel!
