Why does no video even TALK about the quests. I just gotta go figure it out on my own I guess.

My guess it because they are more or less obvious. For each of the quests you need they will be marked with a blue unlock quest symbol or they are part of the actual msq. Either way you can see the blue quests by opening up the map. I hope this helped
