The lighting, texture and visuals are outstanding. Even if games have improved their graphical fidelity, I feel we are still a bit ways to to reach this level of standard 😮

Nah Bangaa's are non-human looking and I still prefer that over the Hrothgar. It's like putting a pigeon's head on a human body and sprinkling some feathers on there. Looks forced and off. But that's just my opinion

@fmbray_ I mean......this isn't our first one in FFXIV, but this and cat boys are the only 2 that I think just look pretty objectively weird. Hrothgar facial structure was already pretty confusing, but not having facial hair to cover it up doesn't do anybody any favors.....

joah und man sieht sie übernächste Woche (ab 16. januar) in 6.5. zweiter Teil. im Grunde ist ja jeder Abschluss der einen Expansion schon die Einleitung der nächsten Expansion und wir sind demnächst thematisch schon in Dawntrail. diese große Mieze ist der Grund, warum wir uns die lange Reise antun: sie ist die Tochter des Thronanwärters.

I can understand why people are saying that this is the worst FF14 trailer and for the most part I kind of agree...but that's simply because all of the other FF14 trailers are absolute BANGERS. The thing about this trailer that stands out to me is that it really doesn't do anything to overly excite you about the story like all of the previous trailers. I think this is just a fundamental issue with the initial premise of the next expansion as it's literally starting something new. The JP FanFest, however, gave us glimpses that some crazy sh*t is indeed going to happen in this expansion so I very much expect it to be great and to have a ton of fun with it. Also, aside from the somewhat lackluster storytelling of the trailer, all of the other elements are absolutely fantastic from the visuals and the music and the introduction of the two new jobs.

I think stormblood was more boring. Not as cool as Shadowbringers or endwalker but its a new beginning. Story needs time to breathe so its a perfectly fine trailer for something we dont have a lot of context yet
