The new Bahamut is apparently "Solar Bahamut". So the opposite of Lunar Bahamut at the end of Paglth'an. I'll be curious to see the rest of the movesets.

I main Black Mage. I get extra mobility. The new spell is an instant cast which means I can cast on the run. I can also move my Ley Lines. Which I hope is an automatic mechanic and not an extra button to hit

Man...I keep wanting to be excited about ffxiv content but nothing seems to pull me back in. I've been playing since 1.0 up until getting to the moon in endwalker where I had enough. Flashy animations just don't do it for me. I wish I could still be excited about this because everyone seems so happy with it so far.

There's a lot more coming to Dawntrail than just flashy animations! What keeps pulling me back in is all the different things you can potentially do in the game. Plus the community is super welcoming and we all just want to make sure we all have a good time playing :D My FC and friends always wanna hang out and just do content together

Endwalker put me off so much. I really like Eureka and Bozja and before that, the game was just better to play (except HW, that was the worst balancing). The gameplay in Stormblood was fantastic and its been downhill from there. I'm glad Dawntrail is getting more than just flash, but it's no longer a day 1 game for me. I might just wait for Beastmaster but hopefully player reactions are contagious when it drops and makes me feel like I need to play again. I'm not dooming on it just yet lol.

Picto feels kinda one dimensional though, especially when there are rumors that the rotation for getting those motif "parts' are actually fixed and not randomized. You will basically just be pressing the same ratations. Though to be fair the job action trailers have always been just a showcase and the rotations being used are mostly never accurate to actual gameplay

Personally I think I prefer it not being randomised as someone who wants to move from Summoner! 😅 I think overall it'll be an enjoyable job to play

Gonna be honest… I miss Stormblood AST, I preferred a job with complexity. We went from cards that did a lot of different sfuff, to cards that did 1 thing for two types of classes, but we could still draw and figure out if we needed to redraw etc, NOW we get all 3 cards automatically.. one of each. I love AST to death but I genuinely feel a little let down Edit: might be sleeve draw but it seems like because the 3 card slots exist.. we are getting just a card draw wirh 3 cards. I HOPE im wrong and not trying to be negative here it does look pretty.

The devs are doing their best to try and make Astro enjoyable for everyone! I'm sure the job will play well and still be fun in DT :) I hope you do get to enjoy it still

@@SarahJaneTTV well yes Im not downing the devs of anything and yeah I want it to be a fun class for sure, They made great stridez with Monk and thats my other class although now Im looking at BLM and PCT too lol they look bonkers fun. I think I will wait for the full class to come out before I make any judgements, I think I jumped the gun

Yes, RDM play the exact same as BLM and GNB have the exact same amount of GCD to put in 30 seconds than WAR who also have as much OGCD than DRK and they all have as much defensives than PLD, RPR have the exact same flow as DRG, Viper we don't know yet the rotation but I can assure you you'll have mudras too and don't even start me on MNK and SAM, perfect clones, on the ranged side DNC is as static and fixed than MCH and both also have long duration buffs and DoTs they can re-apply

indeed. Idk if the devs are really going to do anything concerning the feedbacks of how one dimensional combat has become, when you basically just press the same strings of rotation over and over since min maxing is kinda a thing.
