I love using summoner as my end game chill dps class! Provides party utility and is so easy! Great for progging with the revives too.

I tend to use Sleep in dungeon if the tank dies during a pull. It helps to lock monsters in place to allow the group to recover, and avoid a run back :p Thanks for the guide!

I really dislike how phoenix regen works. The times I need it, its not up. I wish they would just make buff physic and then make that the one that regens health. I know everyone hates them but I miss spreading dots around.

As much as people (including myself, VERY much), I’ve started enjoying it again. It’s my “I just want to watch the pretty effects and do mechanics” job for endgame content.

I love summoner because it is simple and it levels up with Scholar. It means I have a high level DPS that I dont have to level separately from everything else and if I need to fill in as the DPS role, I can pick it up easier

Still painful how they killed the almost perfect iteration of SMN from ShB to this and then added nothing to it on top of it on this expansion

Its a ranged dps job now. Even samurai has more casting time overall than smn. I do like the freedom lf running around and blasting spells, but in shadowbringers you had this feeling of building up and then unleashing everything in the most satisfying burst. The job was memed as piano job but i liked it once you gey comfy with it
