FFXIV | EUREKA Relic Weapon - A quick guide

Not sure how the rest of NA does it, but Aether DC is notoriously chaotic with joining NM parties, and does NM pull time based on Eorzea Time(ET) EX: PT 1030. It's also plagued with people that will pull extremely early on NMs, double so it it has a drop that sells on the market board like the Speed Belt. One time someone argued in chat that early pulling if fine, if not encouraged it because he didn't want to miss NMs in other instances. Last thing, due to the smaller amount of people that do Eureka, rep is big deal. Generally if you cause chaos and are rude, people will remember and will recognize you later, so please be kind to your fellow Eureka dwellers...

Thanks for the insight on NA Eureka. Very unfortunate that it was plagued with early NM pullers :( Luckily, JP Eureka is very polite and usually very patient. While I was there, there was even a guy I saw every time I played pre-emptively shouting in chat for people not to respawn and to let him know because he will come to you. I also very much agree with your statement on Eureka rep, people definitely will remember the good and especially the rude.

Even though you do not upload final fantasy XIV anymore and this video is old, this guide definitely still helps a lot. This is the best guide I could find. It took me only 7 days to complete Eureka and get demi ozma and the relic. Thank you for this video

​@@Xhanatos Nope! There was a period where I had a good few weeks to do stuff before I had to prep for more college stuff. I finished most FFXIV stuff and got bored of the game and then I played Eureka and that was my favorite thing in the game. I stop playing now though sadly. Busy life

I can say from my experience on the Crystal DC that, aside from the fates that can drop items like the speed belt and bunny fates, pull times are *typically* respected. Standard pull time is at 27 minutes remaining (or 3 minutes after it has popped) and if you need more time people will usually be willing to wait if you ask nicely. All you have to do to get into a group at a NM is say "lfg" in /say chat and you should pretty easily get an invite. Just make sure when you enter the zone to ask for the current tracker link so you have an idea of what's available and help grind out an NM spawn if you're able to. I had fun doing the grind, but I was also only there for the tank/DRG elemental armors. Now I'm looking at jumping back in for an early stage of the RDM relic.

For Reapers and Sages - You can level up a weapon from another job, but when it comes to the Anemos step you must be the job for that weapon. The dialog box at 3:10 shows Dragoon specific options that I didn't see as a Reaper or a Sage. I switched to Monk for the weapon and then those dialog options became available. A short cutscene then followed and my weapon was upgraded. This was a simple step that can easily be overlooked.

If you are using a controller, using the joystick while holding circle forces you to walk which you should do while skirting the wall by the various dragons. I’ve been playing it fairly safe when I’m not in a FC group. I didn’t know how to walk in FFXIV before getting to Pagos.

Im not too sure on controller play but my friends that have controller also have a keyboard connected to their console so they can type in their chats so you might need to get a cheap bluetooth keyboard or something. Otherwise you could make a macro with something like: /sh res please

Just want to add that the Scorpion Harness glamour from the... Sherket NM? in Anemos also makes it worth going. Can even stop there if you're not interested in the other stuff (but why stop when you can keep going for Demi-Ozma). Any other cool glamour anyone want to share?

If I wanted to go the marketboard route for the 50 logo actions requirement, how should I go about it?

The Eureka Tracker has a Logograms section, which allows you to mark what actions you've already crafted once. Use this. It also tells you what combinations of ingredients make each action, and will also tell you what Logograms can yield those ingredients, and how many more you need to max out on actions. Since getting ingredients from logograms is random, they'll all be marked "approximately X;" so to start, you can buy approximately X of each logogram, make as much as you can with what you get, and then make another trip to the board to fill in the gaps.

Eureka tends to be more popular inbetween expacs, most people would be raiding rn. Also depends on the server, elemental servers have a lot of Eureka activity whilst servers like OCE would be pretty quiet.

Yea imo i would say its not worth doing solo as eureka fates are the easiest way to get exp. Mechanics of the fates are pretty easy and telegraphed, and you pretty much just follow everyone. If you do die though you get resurrected anyway!

I grinded about a week to get the Armour. It will be faster if you can find a party. Also, try to make a cross world link shell so any one can join even from other servers. Good luck with the grind.

Just putting this here : Please for the love of god, don't click on a red portal for BA if you're not part of a discord group trying to clear it, you will get blacklisted from said discord and not get a rez if you die in BA. At least that's the case in EU. We have specific discord that organise runs weekly or more (notably Late Night) and they blacklist people who steal spots just to troll.

@@debrucey blue portals require a special item to enter them, they spawn first when you kill ozma, then, 7min later, the blue portal despawn and red portals replace them, those portals are the ones people generally use to get into BA and that's why people should not click them if there is a discord server organising a run at that moment (or just don't click them at all because you'll probably die and go back to level 59)
