I’m with you on the ticking. I found that it recedes as I continue to listen. It’s kind of odd; when I think of the song, I don’t hear that part. It was a bit of a surprise while recording.

It’s funny, I listened to it again and after a few minutes I didn’t hear the ticking at all unless I focused on it. I wonder what the composer’s thought was in including that effect, and how that works. Does it trigger a subconscious response in the listener?

I'm on the oposite in regards the clock. I have a pocket watch that ticks twice every second, I can only hear it when everything else is quite, so the clock ticket, though fast, is still kind of calm And of course, the piano is soothing af

that ticking is also in some levee quest music and its always made me have that little bit of tenseness due to it
