FFXIV Patch 7.1 Crafting and Gathering Guide: Crafting Macros, Overview, and More!

There are teamcraft links with the crafting macros in the description of the video. After you click on the link, look for the blue "XIV" icon to create an in-game macro. Or you can use what I posted below. Be mindful that it is a two step macro so you will have to create a macro for the first step and a macro for the second steps. The Everseeker Set was a goal I spent almost 2 weeks trying to get. Putting off the crafter quests really held me back for a while, but after i got Manipulation on everything, I followed the macro and everything came out alright (save for a few minor screw-ups due to poor luck). I appreciate the way you explained the macro. Came out with a newfound respect for actions that I previously looked over, and now I got a HQ set of gear to craft with. Definitely subbing after all that👍

I've never seen your videos before (I don't do much crafting), but I love how you explain why you do every action in the macro! I feel like over time I would actually be able to understand the process and handle my own crafting if I wanted to. Also the pace you talk at is great. : )

Thank you for saving my life with your macros. My gear isn't melds as well as it should be but I was able to craft the gathering jacket HQ with your macros (and a little bit of luck cause I could only get to 90% in quality since I'm lacking some materia.) So thank you very much!!!

I caught a bunch of cloudsail with a versatile lure, and 3 ambitious lures actions after cast.

That's good to know. Ambitious Lure is turning out to be really helpful when farming fish.

Hello there great video, however just a heads your second macro for the mats has delicate synth instead of careful synth.

I am confused on how high my stats need to be to even do this... With this rotation I don't even get to 12.000 quality. I have to adjust the craftmansship and controll stats in teamcraft to 4950 and 4940 to get the numbers you are creating here... how would I even geht those high stats? I know I am not overmelded yet but my base controll is at 4454 with buffood on. That seems practically impossibe to achive for me.

Are you using HQ materials? If not, you may want to try 2 or 3 HQ materials. Also, what are your stats without food by chance?

@@KijanisGroove It's the first time I took a look at the endgame crafting. I made myself the HQ690 gear but now I realised that the next hurdle is just a huge wall of materia grinding. I don't have the motivation and time to do this unreasonable amount of grinding just to get the last tier of crafter gear. 😅 It could have been fun cotent to do, but this min/max wall just looks like content for totally dedicated people with muuuuuuch time.
