As a side note, DPS don't *have* to each be behind a unique tank/healer. As long as you're slightly enough ajar in one of the aoes, the knock back will put you far enough to where you don't hit each other with forked lightning. Additionally, it is possible to move after the knockback while still being turned from the eyes, so even if 2 dps get knocked back to the same area, it can be fixed with some slight adjustments.

Thanks for the guide. This is the second Gwiber I got today. We completely skipped the tank buster at the start. Instead the invuln might now be needed when other players clip the tank with their AoEs while they take the meteors. This happened more than once to me as a tank and I nearly died several times, and just invulned through it after a while. Didn't care enough to tell the DPS to be more careful when I can just resolve it on my own. Most other mechanics, such as knockback, the eye, and others are now completely skippable. And at least to me, these fights sometimes sound a lot more challenging than they really are. That's most likely due to better gear, but still.

@@moonshadowfantasy Thank you. Just two more Gwibers, then I'm done with ShB Extremes and can move on to E8S, E12S, or EW Extremes. Part of why I find EX trials (and harder content in general) more manageable these days is also experience. When I just started out with EX/Savage, I saw a mechanic I didn't know, I panicked, didn't know what to do, didn't do the mechanic, and didn't learn anything from it. Then I failed the same mechanic again. If, for some reason, I did the mechanic correctly, I had no idea why and couldn't replicate it next time. I also didn't understand guides that well, it was just too much information at once to memorize it all and follow the guide under pressure. Which is why short guides that focus on only the important mechanics are sometimes much better than a 20 minutes guide that will tell me every little detail about a fight. That's much better now. Only took 1k hours and quite a few EX/Savages from ARR, HW, SB, and ShB to get used to it. Granted, not all of the time was spent fighting, but it took a long time to get better.

This can be cone more easily with 7 DPS and 1 WHM, P1 skip TB via dps, P2 have a RPR/DRG grabbing meteors H1 stays rel mid with medica2+temperance, P3 Kill adds immediate LahaIce Igeyfire, P4 Universal Manipulation skipped via raw damage while H1 drops Lily Bell as a precaution to drop doom. P5 and onwards is a joke. I know this guide is 2 years old, but with current 660 or even 640 mb gear with 7 DPS and 1 Healer can easily rip and skip all mechanics.

The Ascian Prime part really confuses me. So (as a dps) the circles will be around healers and tanks, we should be on 1 non-overlappying part of the circles. Then we will be pushed back, not moving and looking back until the shockwave. Did I get it right? 😫

Got the gwiber mount at 94 totems, so i convert totems to weapons and it becomes 4 Hades's Auracite, not bad, easy gil

I can relate, I honestly don't like markers, they just get my way of cool screen shoots. That and if the boss is always facing north anyway, it's not hard to find south. If anyone asks you where East is, just tell them to raies their right hand. Lol 😆
