Rather interesting. Instead of reveal exactly where the Heart of Sabik was found after the Final Days, it sorta confirmed my theory that some part of Athena's essence has hold over Lahabrea through the auracite combined with her influence when they briefly merged Or some part of Lahabrea cared for Athena and found it difficult to part with the only thing left of what he remembers he lost

Maybe the reason why Lahabrea rememthe faces of his family was due to the Heart of Savik inadvertently revealing his desires to the surface that were long faded. It is still auracite and it has a nasty habit of drawing out desires of those who handle it. Look at Athena.
