the level 45-50 ARR artifact gear goes in the armoire, everything else already goes in the dresser, also you can very very easily re-obtain this stuff with the weathered gear from plces like Snowcloak and get augmented dyeable versions in Mor Dhona that do go in the dresser.

If it allays your fears even a little, the green tea paradox may help here - wherein lung cancer rates are lower in east asia than you'd expect given smoking rates. It's believed to be because of the sheer amount of green tea they consume! That being said, it'd certainly be better for him to quit, but hearing he's reduced is good!

I actually think they need to rework the system entirely. If they use the system that the new FFXIV mobile game is going to have for glamours then they could make them work similarly to how gearsets work tech wise, which would mean they can make glamour plate creation and saving clientside and only check in with the server when applying the plate to make sure you've unlocked the gear's glamour on your character. This would mean glamourplates would be essentially limitless, since they wouldn't need to store them on their end and it would just be a check to make sure it's valid when you apply the plate.

Out of curiosity I looked up that wine and it costs $15.99 here in NY state. The attribute system could be cool that's what guild wars 2 has done for years. You level to 80 which covers the base game and then after that you work on mastery levels where new ones are added with each new expansion.

I personally hope for past level 100, they do like a fresh start for like prestige classes. Just like FF1, can have the mages become wizards. Can have AST become Devout or something like it. Dragoon could become Holy Dragoon like Kain in FF4 -> The After Years and it could line up belatedly with Estinien's change from hunting dragons to riding them. Not sure what else they could do off the top of my head, but it could be really fun; new job stones for the prestige classes, and 'starting over' at level 1 but still having the power of a level 100 type of thing.

Happy on the glamour plates. Iffy about the Job changes. I like most of the Healers (not AST) as they are right now. I do think WHM needs a shorter CD party mitigation (60 sec or using a Lily or something) since it's really lacking despite White Mage in Final Fantasy having abilities like Protect and Shell. So it really needs that. But other than that, I really like it and hope it doesn't change much. Oh, maybe Presence of Mind being shortened to 60 sec. It and Glare IV are fun to use.

Adding more levels would be genuinely awful. Even with how easier they've made it in DT, leveling each class is still a grueling process with very little reward. I've maxed three characters and have... neat mounts (the best reward tbh), some weird feather plumes, and a bunch of lame titles. They should absolutely take the route that GW2 took with a mastery point system. Give us abilities that let us do fun feats in the overworld, or something similar. It would give gameplay a much-needed breath of fresh air. I dont think /anyone/ would be satisfied with having level 110, either.

I do hope for attribute points and horizontal progression, as the actual level progression will still be on item level Remember that people are "tired" of the 2 minute window, but also want job balance but also always rate each job tier based on performance, so... there is no really a way to get everyone happy on job balance, and as of now, seems like what jobs are missing is identity Attribute points/merits/job customization could be a breath of fresh air. Number wise, the equipment will be the check as always, and rotations to clear "casual" content would be quite the same, but say that maybe you can have some more points to upgrade a skill and change its animation and effects to do more damage, add support, remove positionals to simplify a job or add them to give an edge, change the avatar summons to change elemental effects or equip 3 for your rotations, etc, sure I migh be wishing for too much customization but having a couple of "new" skills per 10 levels per job and some are just upgrades of existing ones are not much fun or exiting to play/watch Sure, the top raiders would be still find a way to say "we need a Dragoon with a 4 part combo instead of 5 to macth dancer steps on the second phase of that particular boss" but we all will now that is just being picky when the actual hard part of the fighs is doing mechanics and know when to burn skills for checks

This game is just frustrating to me now, every single job is set in a rigid 2 minute burst window and that is so incredibly dull to me. The only job I ever cared about was dragoon and that feels like a emptied shell of what it used to be. There is so much dead time that used to be filled with managing mirage dives and blood of the dragon. @@BaithNa It's not the number of levels that is a concern, I think it's the number of abilities/spells to manage. They can't just keep adding more and more abilities every expansion forever, but then again they can't keep cutting old abilities to make room for high-level actions either. Lately they have been doing a lot of "This skill gets replaced by this higher potency skill" or "Using this skill turns it into another skill so hit the button again." They're really reaching at this point, I feel. I don't know what the solution is. Attribute points doesn't sound good to me, as it doesn't add more fun or interesting mechanics, just numbers going up. And like with "choosing" which Materia to slot, there will likely only be one correct, optimal answer with regards to attributes as well. Could they give us some kind of basic job customization, talent tree, or subclasses? It seems very unlikely, but it could be interesting if they pull it off.

Until they have a remotely sane content release cycle I take anything SE says with a bucket full of salt really along with anything "We'd like to", that usually means years if ever. The mobile version looks like its superior in every way in features so hopefully that puts pressure on them to improve the PC version, it would be embarrassing for PC to lag behind mobile.
