The tsunami warning was downgraded from extreme to just a regular tsunami warning, which is a downgrade from exceeding 5 meter wave height to 3 meters or lower in wave height, but because of its geographical location, increased wave heights will be a thing for several days because of wave propagating out, hitting the coasts of Korea and Russia, and then being reflected back towards Japan. The situation at the power plant there is also good, so no threats of a repeat of 2011. There's just a lot of search and rescue going on with collapsed buildings, and that's the main thing being addressed right now.

The 2024 artwork is Dawntrail related, it looks like the main city is on the right hand side of the image. I hope and pray that everyone in Japan is safe and that things calm down soon, unfortunately that is a risk living in a very active tectonic zone. A friend of mine pinged me at about 12:03am in the morning on New Year's Day saying that this message was posted, and I had rushed to try to produce a video myself. I think this was a sweet little new year's gift from Yoshi P and it makes me all that much more excited for Fanfest over this coming weekend. I love the little artwork with Meteor and what looks to be Vrtra with the skyline of Tural in the background. This is going to be an awesome expansion.

Yeah BG3 was an unfinished mess, stopped playing it once i saw em constantly adding things like QoL, performance improvements and even a new epilogue. gonna let em finish it and jump in again in a few months.

You can get fortune tellings (omikuji) during Heavensturn. They added new text with Dawntrail/journey flavor to them. They don't do more than being cute fluff in game, but it's fun.

I and others logically looked towards musketeer quite a long time ago, never coming to pass. With the new expansion I had set my hopes on corsair, but who knows?

I don't really care about graphics, but the logic of it taking 10 years to get graphically updated doesn't really track because... well who knows what "graphically up-to-date" is going to mean 10 years from now?

One of the reasons why it has taken this long is from the kit they were using from 1.0. From what I was seeing from the art panels during the previous two Fan Fests they are reworking the graphics engine extensively for materials as well as environmental but also reworking the character models to make it easier for them to do gear set adjustments rather than reworking each clothing/armor piece for each race individually by type, i.e. Hyur/miquote/au'ra share the same body model while lalafel and Roe's have their own. 🤔
