I got stuck with what had to be a legitimate child one run. I toughed it out, almost left a few times but they were toggling their stance on and off, running around everywhere, didn’t use chat, and were just pressing random buttons. It was a mess

Once I got Tower of Zot and my Pally tank pulled everything one group at a time… and single targeted everything down… And never grabbed aggro if someone else did an aoe (my summoner ass was cooked but the healer was a pro and I just aegised on cooldown more or less). No aoe from the Samurai either I’m pathetic and anti confrontational so I was just vibing but I could tell it was driving the healer absolutely batshit. Bout 25-30 later we made it past the second boss (tank and the other dps died at the beginning of the fight and me and the healer duoed it) and finally the healer said something. In a very nice way he explained that it’s easier to keep aggro with an aoe ability and to make sure that it was on the bar Sure as shit the ability wasn’t even there, tank said thank you and started aoeing. The other DPS didn’t say anything but started aoeing after Long story short, it can be baffling how people make it to certain points, but it never hurts to ask “what’s going on” if they are being shitty… just do it in a nice way 😂 I have to assume level boost because I don’t want to think about leveling ANY class to 80 and not knowing about aoe 🤣 not to mention how does the aoe combo jump off your bar since you’d specifically have to take it off once it showed up… I dunno, it is a mystery 👻 Any level boosters out there wanna explain how the abilities go onto your bar? Do you have to manually add them out of the book or do they just show up in the order that you acquire them level wise? If you have to manually add them at least that’s some closure to the ptsd I have when I see Tower of Zot

that is a useless NPC right there. the same NPCs that plague the game right now, and the SAME NPCs that yoshi is making the game for now instead of the Normal players. absolutely top tier Useless NPC. trash shoulda been reported for griefing and then left.

I hate to agree but I agree. My friends bf is very…stupid. Idk why he stays with him but he managed to carry him entirely through the MSQ. People have thought he was a bot since no living creature could comprehend what he was doing. I’m lenient with people learning and trying to progress but when you don’t even try to learn and get frustrated then run off a cliff every time you’re rezzed, AS OUR TANK nonetheless, then you screw over everyone involved. I don’t have time to spend an hour on a dungeon whose most complex mechanic is moving three steps in any direction outside of a small AoE in 5 seconds. To make matters worse, he usually steps in to defend his inexcusable behavior and gets kicked with him.
