Awesome guide! A couple of notes: Meteor Impact: Party also wipes if two players drop their meteors too close. Chasmic Nails: This can also cleave the front of the arena. edit: The giant cleave can also target the front of the arena during the raid stack pattern in Flow of the Abyss.

@@yukizuri Yeah, you can end up with some really spicy patterns where the cleave covers the entirety of the first pizza slice and you have to find another one to dodge into.

saw a tweet about it, but flow of the abyss is baited on a random player in the party so if you want full safety you can always bait flow of the abyss way back or in front if your group wants to and then stacking most if not all of the aoes in the flows path is usually the safest method to not get anyone killed (there's still random circles spawned around)

Meteors? you have to stretch them! Can be tricky cause you can't overlap pre existing meteors or you wipe the group.

Yup, def super easy to both prog and reclears. Only wall are meteors where you can just survive with sacrificing people anyway!

i've been farming this nonstop and never noticed the safe spot is just the opposite side because sometimes i take the ranged safespot as a physrange lmao ty for all the examples, this will make it even easier to farm

6:05 is there any reason in particular for doing THHT instead of HTTH? The latter would keep consistent to the first set of meteors of DPS as tanks are melee and healers ranged. Great guide

No good reason at all! That's a consistent pos I didn't think of at the moment but you should def use this. Same goes for enumeration pairs at the end (usually done at the front in pfs)

Salut et merci! ^^ Pour moi la seule méca difficile ce sont les météores (qui pour le coup sont énervantes puisqu'une erreur wipe le groupe) mais en dehors de ça le combat est très simple, au niveau des tous premiers extrême Hydaelin/Zodiark. La première fois qu'on a vu la seconde phase a 20% on a kill pour te donne une idée.

It's not the final EX, there was another announced for the upcoming Fanfest concluding. Zeromus is however the final cat mount for the expac.

I believe so, seems like every expac since Stormblood is going to include an extra trial. I'm just curious what the rewards will be for it more than anything. We already have dyeable job gear, I hope it's not another card with an abyssmal drop rate like Miseria. Thanks by the way, I only gave this a cursory watch before I tried Zeromus last night so most of the tail end didn't stick. But I squeezed out two clears pretty quickly last night. With that I'm all set to collect my last couple of cats. Fun fight, if a little on the simpler side compared to Hydaelyn, Rubicante and Golbez.

You could do that yes! I've also been in a good share of pfs putting it farther in the back than in my video. In any case you should be able to keep uptime wherever it is since the hitbox is quite big.

I personally dont see a reason for the 1st tethers during meteor to move towards the back, just stay up front among the comets (maintain uptime and 2nd tethers cant go anywhere close to hitting you) once 2nd tethers hit you can step back to the safe zone Edit: flow of the Abyss lasers arent always across the middle, ive had them strike the north and south edge of the arena before during my EX clears, best to just check the tether and where it lines up with the arena and adjust

That's a really nice note for 1st tethers, thanks! As for Flow of the Abyss, i've indeed received similar feedback which is unfortunate cause my runs were like 10/10 mid but yes, it can be something else!

The Flare got 4 Patterns not 3 :) -> Middle -> Middle shifted -> Out _> and Front/Back (as we call it)

The guide is a bit long but the fight is actually simpler than Golbez or Rubicante! Only the meteors are a bit sketchy.
