ok so im going to explain how this guy blocked the field goal.counting from the left be the third guy.you wanna move him 1 step to the right.as soon as the ball is snapped move towards the ball holding RT & LT or L1 and R2 and either dive with X or square or run up to it and press Y or triangle.

When you audible out of field goal block right before he kicks it, the offensive line won't block any of the rushers for some reason. People try it a lot, it doesn't guarantee a block but it makes it easier

For the glitch you audible to a normal play at the last second but your players still react to it like a fg so it's easier to block

If u time up and audible right before the kick guy comes free like what happen to you, I block kicks but bring Ur return guy n field goal block formation to the right and time up the kick by holding R2 and jump off the line 6 out of 10 kicks u can get to but its all about timing Ur dive
