Ok here's some REAL review of what you done. Nothing special...... you can do wheelies and flip and catwalk with stock out of the box ready to run machines...... Try some throttle control, get some speed and then add nitrous into the second gear. Then and only then do you have the Internet permission to try again.....

@mark442w30 its a whipped cream bulb that contains nitrous. If you've ever used a soda siphon its the same bulb only it contains N2O. You can get these setups for mini bikes and go karts etc etc. They are crude but effective.

I like it alot, I'd like to see some high speed runs with and without nitrous. I bought my first nitro 1:8 scale car in 1993 and from what I remember it was really fast. I'm sure this thing would be insane.

they make kits to hook up nos in a little tank, so you can turn it on and off and it sprays into the carb. much more controlled and wont get as hot. so you can race and when you hit a straight away flip the spray and almost double ur power from a moving position

all good 1/5th scales are expensive, they aren't just a little toy nitro glow engine, they run petrol powered 2 strokes (like a weed eater engine). A HPI baja is about $1200, and the FG's (like this one) are even more - they are made in Germany. Discounting the NOS system, this FG has about $2500 in it at least with all the alloy and chrome bits and pieces

Thats not a nitro, it's a "gasser". Uses a Zenoah "weedwhacker" engine. Way cool. Only suggestion i can make is a better wheelie bar. Include that in the kit and i'll be waiting to buy it!

W/ your power/weight adding some weight on the front is going to help control (and launch!) a ton, without too much speed sacrifice.

lol change the gearing, you've already got enough torque with out the nitrous to flip it over so next mods should be for top speed. for control, a longer first gear is necessary for sure, lol. for second gear you'll have to see where you stand on that after a few runs. you might want to look into HPI Racing's auto-stability control as well, it helps with mine on the dirt track but if you get high speed wobble it could help you too.

Good jod but needs serious amounts of lead ballast up front 2 stop front popping up. Fair play thou good install. Quick shout to KOOLOR1556 dude this is a F.G with a 2stroke PETROL engine needing pre-mixed fuel and oil. Nitromethane is used for smaller higher revving screamer engines like R.B, O.S, etc that use glow plugs. This F.G will use a spark plug like a car or motorbike. Dont say what u dont understand dude

@montyutuber Weights would help but not as much to ever be noticeable with nitrous on, what he'd need to do is increase the tire size all the way around, switch to a much lower overall gear ratio, soften up the rear suspension, and use a dual wheelie bar with built in shock absorption

Get a metal geared med/high torque servo and replace the plastic servo arm with a metal arm and that should prevent any gears from stripping.

That's why a full metal servo is a good investment. You don't have that problem. Mine takes so much abuse crawling it's ridiculous.

Even at top speed, it could do a wheelie-flip. However, you could put a massive wheelie bar on it. A wide one with two wheels. One that would only allow about a 10 degree lift of the front tires. That would be cool

I think you need wheelie bars on that thing. You know with an electric truck and LiPo batteries and brushless motors, it would be just as fast, but a lot quieter.

i see you haven't come to the "faster isn't better" stage of r\c yet. XP i had an older t-maxx. i put a modified 40 airplane engine in it. it was crazy fast! now, what's left of it is in a shoe box in the shed....nice truck, invest in a role cage, try not to wreck it, too soon.

tapping hard on the accelerator like that is a great way to fuck up the little gears and they cost about $60 each for replacements

it´s cool, but maybe to keep the nose down, you should accelerate it till it goes like 70° up and then relase. While the nose is coming down, accelerate everything you have. I believe it won´t come up again :P maybe.. just a guess.

@JerryGiesler09 Sparkplug for the F.G? 1st place i go is local model shop if they were sold out then garden center. F.G uses same type plug used in chainsaw, strimmer, etc but personally i use Avation fuel as the octane pecentage is much higher but they run hot so cooling is needed
