Is it possible to have the annointing without the power? There is a man that has been coming to the alter for years in my church and his whole body will shake,you can see he's trying to reach out to Jesus, but still he is not filled, and I don't understand why. Would someone know what is happening at this stage?

I know this is the person recording these messages, but im a musician in my church and i havent really let preachers too much influence my way of thinking due to the fact of listening to so many preachers that don't have a true annointing. I live in Cali and havent heard or seen such an annointed man of God. He's now my favorite preacher and has me thinking about the way I live my life. If you can get this message to him, I'd appreciate it.

The like figure whereunto even baptism doth also now save us (not the putting away of the filth of the flesh, but the answer of a good conscience toward God,) by the resurrection of Jesus Christ. All the scriptures he used all had water Baptism in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ Tied to it. Cant get around it John 3:5

@jroc0123 Water DOES shake off sin: (a) Heb Chp 12 tells us the WORD is sharper than... (b) John Chp 1 and the WORD was GOD... BAPTISM John the Baptist spoke on BAPTISM of the HOLY GHOST. The WORD of GOD is anointed and appointed to work inside out. The WORD which is GOD, is spoken into the atmosphere of your soul. It begins to shake away the stronghold on your life. Than it cuts away all the sin and your life. The blood, water, and spirit. The Father, word and the Holy ghost.

One of my favorite preacher, but I have to beg to differ with one of those statements, " water doesn't shake of sins" When the bible clearly says, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the Kingdom of God.(John 3:5) Also, Then Peter said unto them , Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of JESUS CHRIST for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost,(ACTS 2:38) shout Yeah! All Bible baby!

When properly observed it is a symbol of what has already taken place in our heart/spirit.

@Duchezz1 You must remember that Christ had not gave up the ghost, yet the world was still living under Law, now we are in the dispensation of Grace, Baptism was not yet giving and neither was the Holy Ghost dwelling in any man like it does today. @prodlj Respectfully, Matt. 4:17 says that Jesus "preached," Matt. 10:7, Jesus says, "...as ye go, 'preach' saying the kindom of God is at hand." Acts 5:42 "And daily in the temple and in every house they ceased not to teach and 'preach' Jesus Christ." It's all through the Bible, Rom. 10:8, 1Cor. 1:17, 1Cor. 9:16, 2Cor. 4:5, Phil. 1:15, Colossians 1:28, 2Tim. 4:2 and also Rev. 14:6. There are so many more, but space is preventing me to add them. We are instructed to preach and teach.

Baptism is Necessary but we you dont REPENT 1st it is useless I AGREE. & Thats why Apostle Peter stood up on the Day of Pentecost & said "REPENT & be Baptized every1of you in the Name of Jesus Christ." Acts 2:38a But what was mention at 7:17 was FALSE. John was the 1 who Baptized JESUS IN WATER I Peter 3:21 says something different from what This Man has said. Thats my Argument. We cant discredit Scripture, But thats thats what he did.

If a person lives in the U.S. they have heard the gospel. There are practically churches on every corner. I don't believe on can ignore God there entire life and in one dying breath repent. Because God has to grant the forgiveness, and he won't violate his own word. Unless a man is born again, he can't inherit.....

John 3:5 Tells us, in Matthew."He had to Fulfill ALL RIGHTEOUSNESS!!!" Symbolic or not no way getting around Baptism in JESUS NAME to much word to back it.. Jesus got Baptized and so did his Disciples, and the Great Commission is to Baptize and Get Folk saved set free and delivered and know ALL TRUTH.

It doesn't matter how many times you get dipped in the water, if you're not saved and filled with the Holy Ghost baptism is useless. In my own view, if you say you're saved and refuse to get baptized, then your testimony is false. You can't discredit scripture to add credibility to others. All scripture is relative and equally credible, given by inspiration of GOD
