I been wanting to do a video doing a comparison between the FGO we had on release and the FGO we have now for a while! Hope you find it interesting and enjoy it! 😳
It's kinda crazy to see how much the game has evolved over the year, there were simpler times back in the day 💯
Btw i bet most of you didn't remember those old np animations, i knew about them but i never had the chance to see them in game until i did the research for this video, they look kinda thrash by today's standards but i assume they were nice back in the day lol 🔥

GOD, _I remember those from March 2018 when I first started playing NA, holy shit._ 😆 Waver's was specially noticeable, that shot of the pillars coming down from the CLOUDS really did wonders for his NP. But the biggest change to this day was the addition of that "[Back]" button. _Oooh myyy GOOOOOD!_ Anybody remember the time when you had to be EXTRA careful about casting the Servant Skills? Cause if you pressed "[Attack]", it was over, there was no going back?! 😩

I forgot how year 1 characters used to look like cheap bobble heads 🤣 My how far we've come. Now here's hoping we get: 10 ticket rolls Generic coins More quartz/fragments. New game modes to add more ways to earn materials and quartz. Story locked servants added to friend points to give them more roots to access for those who want them. Casual clothes for all servants. More grail fronts. And above all Mama tiamat... yes I am baised.

in my humble opinion something like arknigths base would be a nices asset, a passive way to earn QP or EXP, a fabric where to produce either quartz fragments or X material a workshop to produce tier 2/3 materials, among other things that can be implemented, but thats my idea (altho we all know if such a thing existed gilgamesh would be the most wanted)

Ah i remember you was stuck at 50 servant storage and 50 craft essence storage you had to buy quartz to increase inventory by 5.(or am i misremembering) later on they gave back the quartz you used. 40 quartz for ten rolls support system was 1 servant had to use quartz before implementation of golden apples for ap usage

Damn, this is so nostalgic I followed this game since launch, but only started playing in 2017. I remember how fucked this game during launch, how the game could only function for 2 days in a week, how every character had the same animation, and how bad the early singularity was. Nobody expects the game to be fixed, let alone become this successful. People at the time think that this is just some quick cash grab, and even expect it to be shut down soon

Two reanimations in one year, and one of these has been minor changes in the NP. I thought that once they finished removing the blue bars on the NPs they would start reanimating again, but all I'm seeing is that they are not even making buffs so far this year. I'm starting to think that they are allocating a lot of the FGO profits to the supposed games they were planning to develop. If so FGO would be entering a time where they plan to squeeze as much as possible out of the game to try to make their own "Genshin Impact" and eventually at best leave FGO as the game that brings in revenue without giving it much attention.

2019 NA Players here. Never thought i would still play this game after 4 Years😂 well not that active as 2 Years ago but i still keep this Game in every phone. Btw something that really surprised me is that they never updates Jeanne and Jalter sprites considering how Popular those two is. Atleast they update Jalter Art lol, you guys remember how goofy she looks in Orleans😂 btw they didn't change that Goofy version of her for some reason still to this day 😂

Things they also improved on: Mashu's battle animation (especially in E Pluribus Unum onwards), NP, etc. Marie Antoniette going from Caster balls to riding her horse with style Things they also need to improve on: Mephistopheles' animation. He's the only Caster that doesn't have Caster Balls, but rather a generic Saber moveset no. 1 *except with scissors*. This jurts especially if you've seen him in Lostroom. CASTER BALLS. Gilles has them, Shakespeare has them, Mozart has them *with music* Mata Hari has them (And it used to be so bad when even Riders like Martha had them) Shakespeare's animation: He needs stuff from his plays the same way Andersen has attacks from his books. Don't give me that "he's bad at combat magic" crap, he's the master of mindfuckery in Apocrypha.

He's skills were the same as they are now. Except none of them had charge. So his kit was just a crit buff, defense buff, and attack buff.

Also his old NP didn't have the defense down and the drain was chance based(scaling from 60-80% on NP level) meaning the only guranteed effect was a 500 damage curse
