The best part is if you have both Koyaskaya and Oberon, you dont need to choose another Koyanskaya, just pick any buster servant from the support list

A meta's never really dead if you think about it, so long as some people still use it, even if only a handful of people do, it's still alive, just not popular. Then again using any of the metas now really depends on people's preferrences, servants and CEs they have, and the situation someone's in, and they all have their own strengths and weaknesses. Just use whichever one you like, or just adjust to the quest you're attempting

Funnily enough both Double Oberon and Double Koyanskya work with allowing buster servants to loop, it’s just very dependent on what that looper has in their own kit that makes you want to take one over the other. Example would be Ibuki Douji and Ishtar, they have 3 turn/activate on Np Atk and Buster buffs but no np damage buffs so they prefer Oberon, while someone like Artoria or Lartoria has Atk buff but their buster buff is only 1 turn so they prefer Vitch. The perfect balance is running both Oberon and Vitch, you should have more than enough damage then. Not to mention Vitch herself cannot loop in her own system and actually does need double Oberon to do it, though you could just double Vitch with Semiramis… but that’s way less damage.

She could already farm with double vitch kscope or plugsuit kscope double waver skadi or any 50 charger. Bb double vitch kscope with atlas gives all you need to do 3 turns but if you need 6 slots for whatever reason like lottery Oberon would be nicer. Oberon is more so a team of farmers than just one.

so the buster system now is koyan for easy go, oberon to nuke the shit out of anything this new system is pretty ballance not gonna lie they are very good but not overshadow any previous type farming like when castoria comeout, cus buster have a limit and that limit is understandable.

Hope people start collecting append coin for Oberon S2. If our friend's support Oberon has it, we could use Plugsuit and allow another battery support to come and help charge the dps who dont have 50% battery.

Pretty cool I guess with no ce charge or less need for one so it will be a great add for people on Farming events. Na wise still looking at space Ishtar and castoria for now. These buster units I'll keep an eye on. Vitch more so than Oberon as I think her system looks more fun.

Damn that's ingenious I was thinking of just using the edgy moth for double koyan looping and maybe looping with koyan on cavalry but damn that's something I didn't even think of, well I guess it's just more incentive to roll for him

You could say so yeah, against Knights though like WHY wouldn't you bring Oberon and 6 slot if you have a good personal Oberon? Koyayaya covered the other spectrum. Just insane Buster now has many options to work lol

The biggest winner here is FK Lancelot with double Vitch + Oberon system she just can crap on anything that's not saber with 6 slots. Even when you remove Vitch with other generic 50% charger like waver she still slaps hard

oberon has a passive that lowers merlin's buff success rate by 20% so watch out for that if you do

I love the new evil meta. I found it disappointing that all of the main support servants were good, but now Vitch and Vortigern have remedied that. Only problem is that it looks like lostbelt 6 is going to bankrupt me when it comes to NA...

All the main supports weren't good though. Tamamo who was the go to arts support before Caster Artoria is Neutral Evil, and Reines/Sima Yi is True Neutral.

it wasn't exhaustive honestly, any 50% works really but I'd discourage this exact setup against cavalry event if it works here, you need low HPs... Double Vitch is better against cavalry

Europa needs her append maxed to full 20%, needs both Oberons appended and a 10% MC applied to herself to work like its show in this video. However because she's Cavalry and Oberon doesn't do great there, you're better off using her with vitch where she sorta works if you work around her 30% battery.

He feels like a last resort servant, whether it's him using NP on the last wave or superbuffing your servant on the literal last hp bar to kill

Literally any time you are fighting knight classes and you have a servant with a 50% battery, this will be superior to anything Koyanskaya can do.

It's the damage, if the HP on wave 1 is high, or wave 2, NP1s may not be able to kill outright. Its especially problematic with oberon since his NP applies an invul so you're forced to wait another turn

Well I managed to somehow luck into 3 copies of the Prince with only ~180 SQ and I got a NP5 Koyanshaya, so I guess I'm set when it comes to Buster Memes and farming, huh? Man, I guess Threats against love me something fierce, or are plotting a most heinous fate for myself......welp, better enjoy them while I can! I do have a few questions for ya, though, if you care to answer: -If used mainly for his Damage Buffs, would he be better or worse than Merlin and Nero in standard DKS? Merlin's Buffs last longer overall through a standard 3-turn clear, but he doesn't have much NP charge to give or the sheer explosivity that is the moth's S3, so I'm having a tough time visualizing who has an edge up or not. -Which is overall 'better' in Damage Per Wave and Overall Damage (in your estimates), DKS, DCS, or the new DOS? -Would you consider Oberon to be better than Waver as the better general support, or not? I'm on the fence about it, as while Big O's S3 is a monkey's paw (a useful one, but still) and the cumbersomeness that comes with a single 50% Charge he still has 20% Party Charge w/Party NP Damage Up and 50% Targeted Charge w/Stars vs Waver's 2 10% Party Charges, 1 30% Targeted Charge, 30% Party ATK Up and 50% Targeted Crit Up. That, and his NP can does some major damage to a Wave and stall out a turn if need be much better than Waver's, if you contrive a way for him to use it.

He’s for sure better than Merlin. Merlin is now solely for CQs and not for farming. Better compare with Koyanskaya on that front. Is he better than her though? Not really, but for me personally he can 6 slot farm Knights assuming I find good support Oberons. That is pretty great in 90+ era, only hurdle being enemy HPs. For generic 6 slot plugsuit, you can now basically do wild things with double Koyanskaya with him, or can go other routes. Him and her having damaging NPs make them better and more flexible than waver for sure. NP Buff is rarer than Charisma that waver provides too. Ultimately, honestly the answer it depends lol. If you have enough to clear a specific node, then that’s the answer. That’s all that matters, no matter who you use, the ones that work with least amount of time, buttons, and CEs are the best options.

How can I see 3rd ascension from my support list? Do I actually need him to see it? A friend of mine has it on his third ascension and I see him on his second one. I did beat LB6 btw.

Apparently the new update has it locked unless you roll him and clear his special quest. I think it's a bug but who knows, if they change it then we'll know it's a bug, otherwise you might be locked out from seeing his FA unless you roll him.

I prefer his final sprite over the first two ones but it doesn't really matter much when I'm just farming. That being said, great video! I don't have him but I do have a set up that clears practically everything with just one Oberon so I can go on without him for now.

I don't really understand your issue. Only his Sprite and Costume are locked behind a special quest and for LB6 completion. His skills should be available so I would verify you completed them all

oberon case for me its about how much you love him to want to np2 him, him being buster np servant its not like you gonna spam his np and his s3 is more than enough damage even when you supporting a 3star servant. Personally I see him as support/attacking servant focusing on big damage on 1 turn

In his describtion below the video the creator agrees with you. The Oberon should be at least np 2 so his np dmg numbers are high enough, better np 3. So i would say np 1 is not reliable in general. It really depends on the notes you are farming

with fgo's low droprate it's pretty much a waste of time to even get oberon, while he can do that as shown in the video he's still useless most of the time. complete waste of SQ, would love to get my quarz i wasted on him back but well i didn't even got him so fgo's still fgo. and i'll make sure to skip that piece of garbage in global.

Depends, you’ll need a strong support Oberon for wave 2 while your own can maybe squeak by at wave 1 (buffing him with MC)
