They "stealth" buff her S3 to apply Def down before damage now. I'm not sure if it's bugged or intentional. Edit: Lasengle confirmed this is a bug.

It was intentional I think. The text on her skill 3 in JP was changed from apply def down after attack on arts cards to apply def down to target(s) when attacking with an arts card

No, JP skill text is unchanged. Not to mention this only applies to her NP, her normal cards still apply Def down after dmg. Edit: my bad, apparently one word in the skill description was changed.

Eyyy nice one. She deserved that np buff. They also kept the debuff dps style, doubling down with a 3 turn arts down. On top of that they also give her a 30% np gain before dmg which is helps her looping too. They basically got 2 birds with one stone. A great buff

Absolutely absurd upgrade, in a good way. She went from getting like 50% refund at the very most with double castoria to a very consistent ~80-90% depending on enemy class. Damage increase is also nice
