Looking back on it now. Think of what Ritsuka or Gudako's done. They're a below average magus at best, with their only real skills being a flexibility to their magic circuits that allows them to utilize any mystic code due to being a first generation civilian (No inherited crest to set a foundation to their circuits), and an extremely high aptitude for Rayshifting. Aside from that and their raw determination? this entire fight they're not only dealing with stress on the mind. But imagine the agony going through their body from having to channel 30+ servants all at maximum capacity, chaining noble phantasms and augmenting them with their own magic as well. Sure, The Chaldea system offers some supplementary support to keep servants from actively draining a magus by simply being around. But in combat every ability takes a toll out of the Magus. To put it into perspective, look at Shirou from the Hollow Atraxia route. With Archer's arm, he's able to push beyond his limits. But every time he does, the influx of power causes his magic circuits to go haywire and start devouring themselves. Our character on the other hand is being used essentially as a fuse. If not for the fact mana is being drained from them as quickly as it's fed into them. They would have quite literally exploded long before. And this has been touched on even way back in Olympus, The fact We can fire the Black Barrel at all is entirely due to the Magic circuits not being developed enough to explode under strain. In theory however, with enough use of a singular mystic code their circuits would eventually fall in line with it and they'd lose the ability to use others, but get the ability to use the spells naturally without the code giving guidance. Obviously as far as gameplay goes this wouldn't happen, But the theory is there.

I mean, most of the units that were used are 3 stars and below as a support unit to power up the main damage dealer. You can easily have this depth of a box with just enough SR and SSR to beat this boss. What should be admired is not the box itself, but this person’s deep understanding of each servant’s kit and how to pair them to maximize damage output.

Honestly I can’t help but be in awe and ORT’s sound design. Phase 2 just knocks it out of the park with the loud horn echo every time it activated a skill or steals a skill. It seems simplistic in nature but it just shows this isn’t your normal foe and the music certainly conveys it enough.

tl;dr it took a day, but you get all your servants back for the final bar, so no saving is necessary. also, this is nowhere near optimal, but i didn't want to reset my progress :) All in all, this took about a day to record, but it was mostly planned fight by fight while trying to conserve as many resources as possible since I went into it blind. Originally, I thought the battle was only the first set of break bars, hence why I used Cartoria and Holmes without thinking too much near the end of Set 1. I got completely blind-sided by Set 2, which ended up being a lot harder due to not having as many resources left (Set 1 I was basically one-shotting with np or over-killing with crits, but Set 2 I was barely killing with NP-B-B). I was also at this point unsure if there would be a third set of bars so I was holding on to some of the more powerful units I had left (i.e. waver, tamamo, etc.), though this ended up being useless. Now that I fully understand the fight, I could plan a much easier and more consistent setup, though there would still be a lot of rng due to ORT having a random class for each fight.

I'm going to stop you right there. This fight released on the 31st of January 2023 in JP. I had created my account on that server in August 2022 for Arcueid, I've never bought quartz and almost none of my servants under 4* were leveled up. If you play the game normally there is no problem. Just level up servants instead of getting some to 10/10/10 and/or grailing them and wow, you have the ressources to beat ORT. Edit : In addition, you can absolutely Google videos of people clearing it with low star servants.

it's not necessary to kill in 1 turn, or even break 1 bar per fight. if you don't break the bar during the fight, the damage carries over to the next fight. technically you can just keep doing it over and over again as long as you dont run out of servants

Yes, it is part of the main story of Lostbelt 7, so you will not be able to progress without completing it. However, since it's a raid, your damage carries over between battles, so it might not be as hard as you think.
