@@tipoima ye kinda true for HF Idk about the fate route Im mainly talking about the UBW route (specifically the shirou vs gil fight) Lemme give u instances where gil could have done something to keep himself from being killed or damaged but just forgot due the shirou’s plot armor: -Gil forgets to wear armor -Gil could just fly away when shirou was about to slice his arm off but gil just somehow forgot - Gil has immeasurable speed which allows him to go back in time so he could just go back in time to kill shirou before he used Ubw but gil somehow forgot - when shirou got close to gil and sword dueled him, gil suddenly lost and forgot all of his experience with sword dueling and shirou was somehow able to overpower gil who is 2/3 god so gil should have been easily able to overpower shirou - After that sword duel, gil saids that he gonna go sicko mode (full power) on shirou which gil should have won using sha naq ba imuru but he didnt win so probably didnt use it so he also forgot that he has hax thats basically auto win So those are the points on why shirou has plot armor. I have only watch the ANIME and have not played the VN so there might just be something from the VN that idk. If so pls tell me Edit: for what u mentioned in the previous comment (which I forgot to talk abt), it’s also just shirous plot armor. Just before that encounter, he fought Heracles which definitely got ash on him. Like gil literally blew a hole in the ceiling during the fight . Thats gonna get ash on him lol. (4)He is a king and not a warrior.So he has little experience of Sword battles.His battles at his age were against gods. His battles against Enkidu were nothing but long range weapons +chain thing because there is no such thing that stated Enkidu is good at CQC too.That's why he is even afraid to fight kojiro in CQC in VN.On the other hand,shirou can get the experience of the sword's user by tracing the sword and he traced Emiya's swords who has Countless years of Battle experience.(Emiya is the same guy who can keep on par with Heracles who was trained by chiron,Cu who was trained by Shishou and Kojiro,the best swordsmana there is) by that time shirou's CQC is leagues above Gil. So there you have it.Gilgamesh losing against shirou is just his arrogance.If he used EA from that start,he can win. Oh and Enkidu will work as a nornal chain for shirou since he is a nornal human and enkidu's chains works better on gods.

You know this got me think who's NP is stronger? Both of them can be ranked as Anti-World. Tsumukari Muramasa was able to cut through Shimabara Hell Reality Marble which to me means its an Anti World since EA can do the same because that is the property of an Anti-World NP. That being the case, Muramasa's sword can cut through fate although it's vague I believe it is similar to Reverse Casualty effect like Gae Bolg. If you take into account EA vs Tsumukari Muramasa I actually believe that this NP at full power can beat EA.
