I had to go around in circles with Altera way too many times to collect all the chests. I wish I would've known this beforehand.

Oof. I can see where you come from. On my first attempt on my first account, I failed completely. On my second attempt, I did it but I noticed trapping BB will stop Melt's advance. On my second account, I did a fast trap with Mandricardo, but I still had to tangle with Lip with Ashwathamma. Then on this 3rd account, I wondered if the "AI" also affects Lip the same way as Melt which led me to this optimal sequence of actions.

Thanks. Unlike your run, Passionlip moved towards BB after I broke Melt's first bar, but once I got Rider into the position, she stopped moving altogether. Even fielding just 3 Servants (Berserker, Rider, Extra Class) does not affect how the AI reacts as long as you get the Rider into position at the right time.

Appreciate the sub. As for Day 7... we will see. If the AI is as aggressive as day 6 (which can make chest collecting difficult), I will see if I can figure out a way to collect all the chests easily. Otherwise, I don't think it will be needed. Grail Front as a game mode itself isn't too hard to warrant a guide. (and from what I know, the story support Jinako is capable of soloing Day 7)

Ok, just tried the grail front for day 7. It was pretty easy to collect all the chests. Beating it also isn't too hard (just takes a long time), so a guide is most definitely not necessary for day 7.

My run was easy but it took a while, musashi and sith destroyed everyone in the middle leaving just altera and king protea, but altera kept trying to kill herself like bruh, Ushi had to run around the map with altera chasing her so she wouldn't kill herself while I took out KP, managed to do it first try but it was slow as hell. Nice run by the way, this helps peeps who doesn't have a developed account a lot.

Step one. Bond 10 Heracles. Step 2, look for the beserker slot -if there is no beserker slot, cry in a corner Step 3, equip Heracles with bond 10 CE Step 4, equip cheap heroes and like 1 other main DPS. Step 5, budget your CEs for the rest, don’t expect 5 star CEs to be worth it.

I personally prefer Arjuna Alter with his cost efficient 3 Hit Invul Bond CE. Some 5 star CEs can be worth it though, Honey Lake for one, and any Lvl 100 CE which gives the full 2k attack stat can still find their worth, especially Guts CEs like Divine Legged Race, as well as 3 Hit Invul/Evade CEs.

@@DragonFalconFGO but 3 hit invul isn’t like 3 guts. Skill cooldowns also fly quickly during Grailfront so I can even add a 5th guts on there sometimes. Heracles with this also gets stronger with every guts activated, and he’s a beserker (so the guts WILL get activated) So what I find useful for Herc is his simple ability to just not die while also blasting through opponents. Also I don’t use Godjuna as much as I should since I don’t got Koyon light. I’m gonna have to skip even the new banners with Arcuid and ProtoMerlin. What’s that? “But you spun on Kriemhild” (Sssshhhh.) must be the wind. The damage CE sounds pretty good, 2 bad I don’t got it

@@DragonFalconFGO increased damage against burn ey? Very interesting but it’s kinda niche huh. It would work for koyondark though, I slapped a bunch of command codes that apply burn/curse/Poison to do a little extra funny damage for that third skill

@@EnReaper Absolutely worth it for Berserkers if you do not have Herc's Bond CE. Being able to survive one turn if the enemy gets to you first can automatically save a life bar. And since Berserkers with BBB decks can easily take down a life bar in a single turn I find this to be absolutely worth it.

I ended up doing this accidentally without knowing it would shut down the ai. I got rekt the first time around so I tried going for BB myself to see if it'd work - which didn't because I forgot she could attack back, then Melt attacked too. Eventually I trapped her in the upper loop between Mash and Nero and used Nero's guts skill to chip away at Kingprotea, skipping turns whenever I used them up since it still progresses skill cooldowns. Ended up taking 64 turns since I only had her at level 70 with unupgraded skills. Still won though.

We will see. It may or may not be too hard to collect the chests. But beating it alone should not be too difficult due to how good Jinako is as a solo unit (which we will have her as a support on Day 7)

This stage showed the problem with the current system's forced termination when you kill all enemy Servants; ending the battle on a victory should be at the player's behest. There's no challenge in trying to get the chests when most of the "difficulty" is due to RNG and cheap AI mechanics. Either you do something like this, or play keep-away and praying you _don't_ crit. Shows how Lazystaff still don't understand their own game mechanics.

No that's not it, I think they knew exactly how most players do these stages, bring in their killing servants like Herc or Bargest, and punish you this time around for trying to get the master to be protected by those walls. Something that I didn't realize after 3 attempts to get the chests, is that melt and lip will follow the master endlessly to the point of killing themselves. Which in any other map that chests are easy to grab is not an issue, this makes it easier, but trying to NOT kill everyone is actually a bit harder in turn. In turn, I like how this map played, made me really think how to move everyone so it didn't go into win too early. I personally like to go for a master kill instead of a servant clear to win because it's harder to do.

tbh I just don't like grail front as a mode that much. I think the only grail front I enjoyed was I think Day 5 or Day 6 of the Rome grail front, disliked the rest otherwise.
