The main appeal to Tez is not his looping but as you said his np battery. He gives the party a lot of charge which opens up multicore even more.

I've seen the sugguestion of double Tez with Castoria and Oberan as an option. Both would have Guts attack proc for 80%. I might try for the Lillim Harlot event if I manage to get another copy or 2 if anyone has him as support too.

I DO want Tez, but I won't be rolling him this time. I'll wait for his banner in Summer. That way I can get summer CEs as well. It's a much more valuable banner imo. Also I can try to fish for him during GSSR.

I definitely recommend pulling for him if you are interested in multicore farming. His 30 battery and 10% refund on np is really useful. Especially considering that 90++ is almost always multicore based.

I had to spend 870 quartz on np2 for him today, within what I could afford but I've had to reconsider my rolls for the rest of the year now. I even got a jack the ripper in there for salt in the wound. I wish everyone else rolling for him better luck than I.

Not tryna flex on anyone(just too happy right now with my rolls) but i got him in under 30 SQ and 1 ticket(got him in that one ticket) Pretty lucky thing for me to get tezcat from a ticket, not only that but he came when golden orbs appeared not even rainbow, so the chances of me getting tlaloc was greater then the chances of me getting tezcat Regardless im genuinely happy, gonna now keep SQ on me till kuku comes

Somebody please tell me how to properly buy sqs from shop from a country Google play doesn't allow and I'll try to summon Tez. This year I'm having such a crunch in Sqs as there are banners after banners and I might not be able to summon most servants because of that. …How did I get seven copies without buying any quartz? Usually I’m only this lucky for Servants I’m rather ambivalent about, not Servants I’d actually like to get. Not to mention getting NP6 before the SR Servant was NP2… Well, just means he’ll be even more useful, both in terms of damage, and appends. Also, I think it’s a shame you didn’t mention the double Tez team comp. 50% for himself, 30% for allies, and 20% for mana loading is a full charge for both Servants, after all

I was aware of the benefits but since I don't have him on my JP account, I was mainly used to just having him as my guest dps and the double comp was not really on my mind. I'll be more mindful of that type of thing for the future.

is tez viable for multicore even at NP1?

I think it really depends on the enemy format. If his anti-Divine, anti-super large buffs can be effective, then I think NP1 "can" be viable. Or if he's used mainly to clear 1 or 2 waves with enemies with moderate to high HP. With another dps in the lineup to handle the enemy with super high HP, likely a strong single target unit. I think the real benefit he can bring even at NP1 is his party attack buff (try to make the most of that guts bonus!) and party NP charge (skill and his NP effect). Plus his modest buff to Master skills which could help tip the balance on the final wave.

I got him in 3 multies and I'm curious if he is ok at multicore as an np 1? I Don't have any of the meta supports so I've been getting by on multi core farming and i heard great things about his potential.

Congrats on getting him! As for how he is at NP1 for multi-core - I think there will be situations where NP1 may not be enough. But depending on the situation, like if there are Divine or Super Large trait enemies, or which wave the high HP enemies show up (so he build up his NP's OC buff), Tez can still be viable. But I think that remains largely true of most of the highly rated units. NP1 "can" be viable but it depends on the situation. Naturally, higher NP levels for any high or top tier servant will be more beneficial overall. I think the main benefits he can bring is his party buffs to attack (double if the others have guts) and his impressive party NP charge abilities. Ultimately, I think it just comes down to using who you have. And since you mentioned not having any meta supports, I think Tez can be of some good help XD

I think in general he can be viable at NP1. But there will be situations where it may not be enough. It will depend on the enemy format and which wave Tez will be use to clear. Of course, if the enemies are Divine or Super Large then Tez can hit like his general NP2 output. So if I had him at NP1, then typically I would use Tez to clear the waves with 2 or more enemies of small to moderate HP. Then have his party buff to attack and his party wide NP charge from his skill and NP to prep another unit for a wave with a high HP enemy.

One moment..chaotic GOOD!? Really goes to show how people view themselves can be quite contrary to their actions. Honestly, he's a pass for me. He's great at what he does and obviously fills a niche. But...class advantage isn't always critical. If I'm going to spend quartz it'll be to turn Summer Melusine into as good a neutral arts loopers as possible. Plus I honestly just don't like the guy all that much. And broken supports are the only times when I won't care as much about personality and roll for gameplay. And he's not that necessary!

I hate this game, i ran out of leystones and the content is so hard. I am new, so i have to wait for more leystones to continue. I can't even max Tez because i can't clear part 2 and don't want to waste quartz to continue, very stupid system.

I hear you about the difficulty in part 2. Especially since many of the boss fights have servant restriction of some sort like forcing Mash in the front row. You can also rely on at least using the 3 command spell party revive once per day. Recently there was an update that replenishes all 3 command spells at once during the refresh period of the daily missions/friend point gacha free roll.
