I'd imagine he was much less of a joke when he was actually released, and the only reason he's a joke now is because of the 'Epic of Remnant' and now 'Cosmos in the Lostbelt' content gibing us lots of opportunities to max level our Servants and then just stomp him with those.

Asterious is probably one of the strongest Servants for this fight, he just debuffs him to oblivion with his NP, and Goetia's high hitcounts with his high base defensive NP gain means he spams is really easily

Asterios needs defensive buff set up to survive the few first strikes. After several np spam, Asterios would be immortal

It's probably to overcharge Asterios' NP for extra debuffs. After all, NP damage is heavily reduced for the first few turns against Goetia.

hmm this is either a semi solo or setup since the first turn you need sacrificial servants but nonetheless mhxa nearly dodge the bullet there with only 700+ hp left using arjuna for the first wave wow that was new while asterios shines in this type of fights

Alif Fandi theoretically he was close to the “solo” for this fight... this fight is literally impossible to do with only the solo unit and two fodders since Goetia is made to kill ur front line unless someone has guts.... but even then u can’t recover enough health to kill him
