The ruby text on top of his Noble Phantasm is "rai raiku vo~tiga~n;" if if were like Wry Rhyme Goodfellow, the katakana above the Noble Phantasm would be "rai raimu" instead. They probably did this on purpose, since the first half is essentially the same. Good lies are based on the truth instead of being made wholesale.

Not sure this is a fun fact but the artist for Oberon (Chica Umino) has entomophobia (fear of bugs); according to the 6th anniversary interview with Nasu and Takeuchi. They mentioned that even though she has a fear of bugs, she actually bought an insect book because she wanted to do her best even though they saw her in pain drawing something she fears.

It's because Sherlock likes solving mysteries so much that if he were left to do his work in the Caster class container, he would make use of the caster class skills Item Construction and Territory Creation and eventually solve every single mystery on the planet. Basically he would eradicate mystery, which is very important for magecraft. That's why the world itself forced him into a ruler container. Rulers don't have the same class skills s Caster. So Sherlock is restricted that way.

people are still on the thought train that mitigating damage taken is bad while dealing damage is good. also every aoe servant must be a looper for 3turn farming or theire trash in the eyes of a lot of players for some reason. the guy damages all enemies and buys you a turn to charge np´s or do other things so whats not to like about that? oberon/vortigern is someone youd take to cq´s for survivability over damage which is something only a hand full of players seem to care about.

@@uteriel282 His damage and np gain aren't too bad either, his np has effective against lawful enemies, his quick cards generate both decent stars and gauge, with his own 70% battery he is going to be good, it just was a matter of what class he would be.

@@uteriel282 The issue is that it's annoying to use his NP for damage, first card Buster bonus is arguably the best first card bonus but you have to use his NP last otherwise you don't do damage and if you have a Buster Brave chain with him then fuck you your extra attack won't do shit no matter what. It's still too early to argue about this because for all we know his third skill could give your entire party an Invul Pierce along with like a 30% 3T Buster buff and you can go bonkers but so far he's leaning on the side of a support

Idk if this is true or not, but I think DW did a 200IQ move making him Vortigern since in history and in folklore he is the king of the Britons who effectively became the next civilization to occupy britain after the Romans since they stopped the Picts and Skots from invading. This is huge because King Arthur's legend was based on the ruler Artorias who Artoria was named after so it would make sense for Artoria, named after the ruler of Roman Britain to be in conflict with Vortigern, the King of the Britons.

Since I see a lot of people asking about Pretender's class Interactions, Imma list it all here: Pretenders are the counterparts to Alter Egos. They do 1.5 against Knight classes(Saber, Archer, Lancer), 0.5 agaisnt Cavalry classes (Caster, Rider & Assassin, not to Zerks though, they do 2.0 like with most), 2.0 against Alter Egos and 0.5 to Foreigners. They take 1.5 damage from Zerks and 2.0 damage from Foreigners. This also means that Foreigners got a buff since they are the best option against Zerks AND Prets.

AHHH I brought some news! Though you may already know-- So instinctively the moment I saw Oberon right, I was pushed with this unreasonable amount of thirst to simp, so I had to look it up. The Art style I felt was so reminiscent to something fairy tale-esque from shakespeare which by lore works right, But that's not enough, I had to dig deeper. And then I learned that the artist for Oberon is Chica Umino, mangaka for the manga series Sangatsu no Lion... *It was the mouth that gave it away*, I recognize the way that mouth is built! I watched my boy Kiriyama make some good smiles with that mouth art style!

Basically, crybacks weeping their eyes out 'cause Oberon/Vortigern isn't a waifu, and thus his art style and him is trash. Now that he is edgier than Edgemond (Don't get me wrong, I like Dantès), all is forgiven. In my not so reliable opinion, his art is kinda strange but the good kind of strange, Like Ivan and Xiang Yu kind of strange. Is interesting and new.

I did not like it to begin with, the hardlines were always a big nono. But if you pay close attention here you can see this art is more blended, more FGO style, and more detailed with its lines. Also you say everyone hated the mangaka, but it's the art that was bad, and in fact I only saw buttkissers praising the rather simple-looking art than hate for the mangaka.
