Whoooooooa Ueda Kana just sounds exactly like Rin in normal conversation. (She's the voice actress, but still, Rie and Minami rarely sound like their characters) Is she doing that on purpose or is Rin just her natural voice?

I just ran search for 植田佳奈 on tube and not too surprisingly, the answer is yes. Rin's voice is relatively close to her natural voice. What was surprising was the fact that out of top ten search result, half of it were her playing mahjong.

It is weird finally seeing what Ueda looks like. Like I didn't research her at all and honestly kinda expected her to look more like Rin. Also, her natural voice sounds like Rin (of course), but its like moments of Rin rather than full Rin all the time. Anyway, thanks for all the hard work!

Weirdly the only show where both Ueda and Tanaka are both acting in is Assassination Classroom. I wonder where else did they meet.

One common ground I found looking up both of their wiki page, they're cast mate in mobile game called 編隊少女 Formation Girls. And Ueda-san does a whole lot of game event MCs, so if they ran into each other on any of that, I wouldn't be too surprised.

Additional note. They do have to abide by NDA on current project, and production for next season should be already under way,. In other words, we'll probably find out once next season kicks off.

Starting from left pane, Minami Tanaka (Nitocris&Valkyrie Ortlinde) & Rie Takahashi (Mashu) they host the show. On right pane is Kana Ueda, the guest. She played Rin in original F/SN, Ishtar and Ereshkigal in FGO.
