Her sprites and official artworks may depict her as slender... But dang, look at that HP pool! She's thick! Looking at her thickness... Err... Stats, I can't help but think that she could've ended up being a good defensive Saber (an upgrade over D'Eon even), but despite her multiple flaws she still seems to have her uses. I mean: Arts resistance down + Attack up + Critical damage up + Critical stars = Solid Pomeranian support. Medb: "Wrong dog!" Hush you! I'm trying to find a reason that might make me roll my leftover quartzs for you ^^u .P.S.: I wonder if I can find a way to stack her "Nice shots" and Ooi's third skill's effects during long battles or challenge quests...

Sadly Lanling just outclasses her in nearly every aspect when it comes to support Sabers. He buffs atk, crit damage and also arts, but with higher values and can also increase buff success rate on other servants if you forego using it on himself to make all his buffs guaranteed. Plus he's only a few months away. Similar situation how CasGil completely outclassed Summer Marie. Gameplay wise you're better off waiting for him.

Thanks for the great video Oni, especially for explaining the rng nature of her NP! For some reason when I read it at first, I thought getting her to np5 would make the rng 100% and thus a consistent 50% defense down on her np, not that it was tied only to the overcharge. BB is not not a great DPS support, allowing her to make any party member fully capitalize on any 3T buff from other supports or themselves while receiving her star gen support, she's irreplaceable. BB is also good neutral damage dealer with a 50% battery and multiple 3 turn buffs. There's only a small difference between her and other 5* neutral damage dealers in NP, while she also holds strong crit potential. While not a looper, she enables the traditional "use a 50% battery to turn 1 a wave." 22K damage on NP1 entirely by herself isn't a bad prospect for a farming member(for refference, she hits harder than Jeanne against neutral targets and Berserkers). As for Jeanne. She is a great farmer, though not an irreplaceable one. As a support, she's average not great. She has no more utility than, say Liz, buffed Medb, and buffed Moriarty. This is me being really generous in hyping the 10 stars per turn from her NP, and putting it on par with 60% damage up against a target for 3 turns(Liz and James) or 70% for one turn, 40% for the other 2(Medb). For instance, Shuten can also buff party damage by 40% for 3 turns and is a star generator for arts teams. She's no where near BB's utility, and if you don't believe me, how many times do you see a BB setup as opposed to a Jeanne setup? This would make Jeanne an average DPS support, and a great farmer, and BB an average farmer, good neutral dmg dealer, second threat, staller, and a great DPS support. Meanwhile, her gimmick is limited to her. Jeanne's the bait, BB's the prize.

Honestly I don't care that Saber Medb is subpar, I've been saving for almost a year for her. Medb was my first SSR and I think she's a fun character , hoping for at least NP2. Pretty good guide.

Ah finally! Medb gets her time to shine in the sun! I am very disappointed with her kit and how she works as a servant, as much as I would love to roll for her, I would rather roll for MHXX and Summer BB because of a few things. MHXX is easier to obtain foreigner because of rarity, Summer BB has better utility and is BB because you can't go wrong with BB. But overall I'm happy to see Medb get her time in the sun. As one last note, I find it funny that Medb is able to gel with Saberlot because you know Saberlot is attracted to all the girls in fgo XD --hopefully Mash doesn't try to kill him and then yell at him as she often does--

They did Medb dirty, which sounds weirdly appropriate. If memory serves, the NP is even worse than it looks. I could be wrong here, but... It's not actually 60% 5 times. It's 60% per successive hit. If you miss the 60% on say, the first hit, it won't even attempt the other ones. What this means is that it's 60% for just ONE stack. Like 36% for two stacks etc.

not gonna lie those skills are pretty damn good. S1 is an innocent monster with 60% battery, S2 is a Arts def down that might stun enemies. S3 is a Boosted Charisma A with crit damage for the team. Also huge def down on the NP. This shit is gooooood

It's Medb, but saber 4* (and apparently has the hots for Siegfried?) Her NP could be good with some absurd stacking of defense debuffs, but I wouldn't really say she's the best to spam her own NP up to between 3 turns. She has a nice charisma, better than her original if you're set for crits but her first skill might need help to carry the team on that. So far her best quality is the chance to stun any group at 60%. I think this might be a time replacing a buster card with quick would help the servant fit in with allies that would help their strategy in place of flat damage up. Even making her full 3 Arts cards + Np would make her more consistent to be a damage engine on a single target. Too much stuff that's unreliable going in separate directions, and she really needs to pick one to make up for rock bottom damage. At the very least 5* thot was an anti male counter or could support friendly male servants, Euryale is always an easy cheese to a final boss but Medb has better stats to work through a regular stage and can do damage without stun locking, which has become more discouraged if Gutterdam is anything to go on.

There are something you got wrong in this video , Medb defence down are a guarantee . My friend who study math said you can't miss 3 60% in a row , it is just impossible, the chace for that to happen is near 0 . So it is really just more of a question can she land another . Just treat this NP as if it got a fix 20% down

Well, it's been announced, so the summoning can start! :P For real, though, I was just looking at banners for the rest of the year, and not only are there the two summer banners I want to roll on, but there's the Dantes banner so I can get mine above NP1 (finally! I can't loop like this...!) which will be hell all on it's own (three banners more or less at the same time?? Really?!), but there's also a Gil banner coming up during this year's "Nero"-fest, so I can try to raise his NP level, too. Not sure if I'd end up rolling for Osakabehime later, but it's possible, and then there's OniLand and the next Lostbelt with related banners at the end of the year, not to mention Christmas as well. DW, why? Spread things out more! My wallet is crying over here! And that's not even getting into how we'll have Kingprotea and Kama close together at the start of the year, with another Kiara banner to boot...

This one doesn't really have anything going on so it's going to be an accidental gatcha catch I'm afraid and I don't really want to use her so she'll be a permanent 6/6/6.

I know that Hassan of a Hundred Faces tends to be forgotten a lot except for Honoka Green videos, but was HF Hassan not suggested when Sbaer Medb and Asako synch so well? But offer Arts down resist (20% each of them), both can generate stars, both have two Arts face cards and Arts NP.
