Things to note about Mori: - MC buffs are 500% so they bypass the buff chance down - Leonidas is one of his best supports, he feeds him stars, protects him, and gives him a respectable Buster Up which means Leo can tank ST attacks and MC buffs can be used to tank an AoE NPs letting you get Mori's whole "Crit NP Crit; Die" value _very easily_ Edit: Addendum for Mori fans - Mori also Scales amazingly well with Grails since he's already hitting at 4-5* damage at 70 so I'll let you imagine how much more damage he does at 100 2k fou

Yeah, this guy seems the type to be used for quickly yeeting through the enemy's first break-bar before disposing him quickly. Which to be honest isn't too bad of a niche, especially for boss fights where the first break bar is a pain to get through. Or you can use him for raids.

You can also bring taunt walls (+ Chen later on) and let him be the DPS for some boss fights, if you want to.

Kinda scared to summon for him considering how hard it was for me to pull for Asclepius just ONCE. UPDATE: I got ONE copy of Mori with my 10th ticket. I don't really regret it since earlier this week I pulled Nero Bride with 3 quartz.

Yea, these 3 stars servants can be a pain to summon. Got Asclepius on the third ticket but wouldn't see another copy of him after using 93 SQ and securing Godjuna. Same deal with Salieri and Jalter : around 120 SQ for 1 copy of him and an angry Jeanne.

Agreed. That's actually the main reason why I'll rather try to get him on the Rerun rather then on this Banner. Because despite having 210+ SQs, I still only managed to pull 2 or 3 copies of Asclepius. So imagine me trying to acquire Mori with just 51 SQs and some 12 Tickets. XP

I know he's not the best and that he isn't a must have, but god is he cool af. Gotta convince myself not to roll cuz gotta save for Musashi, but damn really wish he wasn't limited. I made a JP account during the original release of this GUDAGUDA just to get him and built a team around him. Ended up clearing the game up to that point (LB4) mostly with that comp and ngl it was the most fun I'd had in a while.

@@juanARCE10 Considering it was a fresh account with no real plan for the future other than just to have some dumb fun it consisted mostly of f2p options. Hans and Chen Gong were the mvp supports for Mori as a result, though Leonidas, George, Mash, and Shakespeare where quite useful as well. Hans was just fantastic at everything from boosting damage, increasing survivability (heals and def), producing stars, giving np charge, overall he was just the full package. Chen while not as all encompassing as Hans, did provide more def, more attack, and, most importantly, complete negation of damage through his targetable taunt. The friend support changed depending on the situation but it was mostly Waver or Merlin being picked as the plan was to avoid dying by bursting down most enemies. Obviously beating the singularities was the easy part of it so no need to mention much about it. As soon as I started the lostbelts though it got a bit tough, mainly due to bosses being able to more or less oneshot Mori whether they crit or not sometimes. In these cases multiple taunters with either star bomb CEs or stuff like 500 year obsession(?) would be used to keep the np locked down and the damage flowing. A lot of times I had to redo a lot of boss fights due to bad card or crit rng though. Honestly it was a massive pain in the ass but when you pass the singularities with like a single meme strategy the whole way through you kinda have to see it through to the end. Pretty sure the team would probably get absolutely rolled on in lb5 though. Might try it just to see if it's too bad though I'll have to find which account it was but it should be plenty fun. Btw considering that particular account was meant for nothing but Mori he is np5, can't imagine doing in on anything lower as he is still a 3*.

Has a badass samurai/mecha armour > doesn't have shit for defense.... makes sense I guess. (He actually is pretty good if you set him up right. And that actually isn't as hard as you would think even for budget players. The problem is that he faces stiff competition from other zerks at his rarity like lu bu who can do pretty much what he can and more and aren't even limited. Tho, if set up properly, this guy can be an insane beast. The fact that he dies easily is also super useful if you want to take out a single enemy hp bar and set up another servant with crit stars to take out the next bar. For eg: use his np plus chen gongs np, have chen gong kill him with his np/taunt and have him give crit stars on death for the next servant who comes in. So I'd actually recommend going for him if you are an advanced player and want to design a different kind of team. It does feel really satisfying if you do it. And the added advantage is that you can press your glasses and go "subete wa keikaku dori" like an anime character.)

Made the same mistake, before realizing sth. Asclepius is story-locked, meaning he can be safely rolled from the class summon banner. Mori on the other hand, is a limited servant (like Izo) meaning it's now or during the re-run.

Honoka Green did the Nobu Alter + brother event boss fight using a Mori solo with a team of taunters. if you can't defend Mori, just bring him to fights with ST NP bosses and have team mates die for him! simple :)

I think it's important to note that he isn't immune to buffs after using the skill. There are some skills, most notably the MC ones (now that they were fixed on NA) that go above 100% activation rate.

Mori only needs to live long enough to break a few Health bars, sure you can bend over backwards to make him the star DPS but at the end of the day he's a resource to expend not protect and he's best used to Crit one health Bar NP another then die, while that kind of sucks if you want him to be the sole DPS it's just not as practical in bosses with +3 Health Bars. Mind you this is coming from someone who is 2k-ing him and lv100ed him day 1 one on NA so I am biased in his favor.

I'll have to consider that ld player thing when I get a new laptop since mine is pretty old and I've been meaning to get a new one so hopefully maybe next year after taxes or if a another stimulus happens I'll look into it since I been looking for something like it. Anyway, as for Mori, I can see the issues with him and what you mean but in my experience as well as seeing honoko green the analysis doesn't always mean its accurate since while yeah mori may want to die that doesn't mean you should especially not in battles where you need to cause as much damage as you can while providing defenses. Moris first skill I feel should go last as I feel there's work arounds to make him do crit damage as needed and his NP from what I seen is something most players are gonna need for certain battles. Especially because far as I know no other servant in the game has that combination of invulpierce and ignore def combination that is so ideal for a berserker. Just imagining herc with that power is too OP to think about an he already hits harder than many of his fellow zerkers. So I think the better way to say it is that he's more suited to players who are not only experienced but understand his gimmick and how to work around them as needed while still delivering damage and he's definitely not suited for bosses with multiple bars of HP and have normal AOE attacks.
