I don't have Martha, but I might as well give my opinion. Seeing as everyone rolling for Tamamo will be getting salt, and Tamamo Cat. You can make the most of that with Martha. Both Martha and Tamamo Cat are good cooks, so they can use all that salt in the kitchen. Also, Tamamo Cat's NP heals her... but stuns her. Martha can add onto that healing, while also removing the stun. Both with a single skill skill. As far as 4 star characters go, neither are fantastic. But put them together and they suck a little bit less. This same self-stun removal /w additional healing strategy can be applied to Jeanne's NP (until we get Jeanne's strengthening quest at least).

I'm loving Martha a lot. I used her in Okeanos to clear various things. And she was a clutch against the last battles with her high NP gain coupled with Formalcraft. I do wish that she gets more buffs in the future. She hasn't had her NP interlude yet, nor animation update. As for release servants in general, I feel that buffing their skills to a high degree will make up for their lack of hit counts.

I'm a big fan of her. She's my tanky buffer/debuffer plus that defense down on her NP. Her and Ushi are the 2 riders I use the most, though they have completely different roles. she's also pretty good at getting Tamacat back in the fight ASAP by removing the self stun from her NP. I need to start working on Medusa next since I recently got her.

Martha is my starter 4* and gacha gave me enough copies of her to NP3. She's solid farming doors and caster dailies and useful for boss fights. Can't wait until her Ruler form comes out.

Well I do certainly appreciate her a bit more now. She was my guaranteed 4 star and I initially wasn't that into her. The game was to easy to even bother bringing her along for heals. But now that the difficulty is starting to ramp up ( and knowing some of the future events to come) I may as well work on her. Having control over buffs and debuffs is pretty handy. Also I finally managed to max ascend my Gilgamesh! I'm hella happy ( and surprised honestly, considering how much mats he needed. I legit had everything he needed after I got the last serpent jewel I needed for him)!

She's the handler of Kamikaze Gamera :-p If you guys think she's kinda weak as rider, just wait till you roll her as swim suit ver Ruler. The rumor/running joke among Jp players is that she shed her staff and garb which actually were restraints. Yup, clobbering time (including her turtl.. I mean dragon) And cue "Beast 2" from Evengelion OST plz :-p

i have my supertition/faith that those who get martha as their guarantee 4* in the prologue, are blessed with good luck. i got a friend who is just likke that, and he got her. i got her on my first weekk of game and got ozy, nito and lancelot on the camelot pickup summon with just the tickets and quartz from start dash and fuyuki/orleans (yes, i started playing just a month... but i know a lot about Fate due to tons off friends who are fans of the series and the game). my other friend who started playing along with me, got both martha and marie in the tutorial. during the anniversary he dropped davincii in 2 tickets along with the other lucky friend, and this first one got tristan again with tickets in the second camelot pickup. and just as i was recomending crafts for him, he droped one of the recomendations on a second ticket. in this summer event i got karna, squirturia, and 2 berserker 4* (that i dont like) all with just 70 quartz and 15 tickets, but i didnt get my ruler martha i was loging for... ;-;) and my friend who got davincii and tristan got her, and TWO marie caster. but it was still an EX luck, even if it was wrong EX luck for me. martha is the saint of the gacha. change my mind

Dude this is so fucking relatable even 2 years later. I just got into this game a week ago during gilfest and she was my gauranteed 4*. I got Gil from gil fest with 60 sq and 1 week later Osakabehime with 1 ticket now during halloween rerun lol.

The debuff resist on herself actually works too if you consider an opponent having a spammable stun or aoe stun like waver. Say waver used his np in the daily and stuns everyone except Martha, she can just use her 2nd skill and the stun, curse and Def down are now removed. But of course most people just kill waver before he even gets to np lol

Her NP gets a little better after a super late third strengthening quest. I got spooked by her so many times, she'd be NP6 if that was possible lol. She's great with Berserker Fran and pre-np strengthened Jeanne for cancelling out their NP demerits. I'm personally excited for her Ruler version this summer!

Buster NPs don't actually lead to them doing more damage. Due to the card type multipliers, buster, arts, and quick NPs (if interlude bonuses aren't included) tend to have the same base damage, with quick NPs coming out every so slightly ahead.

I think it depends on the servant and deck in question. Some Quick NPs do edge out Busters, like Okita's. But from what I understand Buster brave chains with your NP outscale Quick and Arts NPs in damage since they receive the buster brave chain damage buff. As for Buster vs Quick vs Arts NP on their own, you might be right about the base damage due to the increased multiplier on Quick and Arts (I would need to look at the formula again), but that would make sense. Either way thanks for pointing it out, I'll look into a bit more.

On her debuff resistance skill: I always figured it was crucial to keep her being able to use her other skills with 100% reliability. I mean, there are few things more infuriating than having your cleanser unable to do anything because she got sealed/stunned/charmed.

ayuvir Nah Assassins are just meant to be Rider Killers and Crit Star Generator and sometimes Crit Attackers So Hassan is pretty much a cheap really good option for both Crit Stat Generator and Crit Attacker. Not to mention ("THE REGENDARY HERO OF FRANCE") Kojirou is pretty much great for single damage NP since it's so easy to get him. Raise both of them and their do their job until better Assassins in the game.

Still man, Carmilla is pretty unique in the class since she's more buster oriented, can delay the enemy and gain NP, a decent defense down debuff and a very usefull crit rate down crit stars gen buff/debuff. Her NP heals and does extra damage to female servants which is always great considering only 7 of 21 total riders are male and the overall huge female cast in the game. She's also considered by the tier list to be on par with Lancelot and one of the few starter servants that is actually high up in the list. Dissing the class as just rider killers is, in my opinion, a massive understatement in general since you are dissing both Jack and grandpa Hassan.

Got her as my starter servant. Kinda disappointed seeing that she has one of the lowest attacks in the game and I'm lacking in the damage department other than Robin Hood. But she's adorable, tomboyish and she's a great tank/buff and debuff remover so I'm happy to have her. But assassin fights are a bitch. Not to mention trying to farm Rider dailies with only Jing Ke as my assassin.

I'm not a fan of her Rider version. But I really, really love her Ruler version. Martha Ruler is my main servant on JP, and she'll be Grailed to lvl 100 in near future (I hope b4 the end of this year) I can't wait for Summer event LoL. Absolutely no regrets on Grail Ascending her. Now, her Ruler-class version can't come to me any sooner OTL. And yeah, I'm sad; I cannot find anybody else besides myself that Grail Ascended her D: Does everybody really not like her Rider version that much? Is she not enough waifu material? And (un)fortunately, Martha's low attack also means that her Buster Chains don't give out much extra plus-damage per command card to begin with (1600~2000). Or if looked at the other way, it's exactly because of her low attack that having access to a B-Chain would be more valuable. Half full or half empty, either way works.

I have a question. How do arts chains using the noble phantasm help you spam your NP? It looks as though you only get the arts chain bonus before beginning attacks, meaning that the arts chain bonus would only be useful when you're at 180-200% or 280-300% charge to get the overcharge effect, since when you use your NP, it empties the gauge completely.

John Peacekeeper David alone can skill seal him to prevent the buffs from happening. So can Mephisto and Mata Hari. Provided that you can survive his attacks after he buffs, then I guess Martha and Medea can dispel him.

here i am happy to have pulled her from a free summon ticket and using her strictly as an Opener NP for Gil XD all my gold servants ive ironically pulled from free summon tickets and not the 10 summons. but ya, my friend pulled a ton of her during his whaling for Jeanne, except he got Kintoki instead lol

Well that's pretty lucky, I have never once gotten a gold servant from a ticket. All my servants came from 10 summons. Kintoki is very strong, your friend should be happy with him. Jeanne on the other hand isn't very good, if she's her best girl then I would understand why your friend would be somewhat unhappy.

thats what i told him lol but ya he wasnt very happy, he just had to "make due" with Kintoki. i kinda like Jeanne, tho ya lately i havent been usin her (as support, cause i dont actually have her lol) lately; she basically carried me through Early game until i could level up my own servants, especially Gil. but ya, nowadays need more firepower over stalling and tanking, but seems that everyone is alluding to stalling and tanking being the meta to go towards later on though, to which i have no real top tier support servant yet.

Yeah I have Jeanne at level 90 and don't use her at all. I can see that she can be useful for Arts teams but currently there is no need for her. Having 3 berserkers at level 80 I can easily clear all quests and if I need support I prefer to use Waver from friend support; I have a few ppl on my friends list who have him at level 90. I personally like Jeanne but as a servant she falls short, she desperately needs some sort of buff.
