in my case i've been saving for her since dec and since then i've rolled only on tickets and when sq dipped over 430. i have many quick units and with recent rolls handing me atlante Np4 and achilles as well as Okita Alter i have a great setup for a crit monster team load out.

Jokes aside, she actually has a pretty underwhelming NP when compared to the other top supports, it just doesn't matter because 99% of the time she is used for loop farming and loop farming alone.

@@Horvath_Gabor i think her NP is good simply because it offers hard defense, something only jeanne had. Sure its 1 atk, but its enough to prevent an NP team wipe. The extra crit strenght can help when her first skill is on CD and the dmg cut coupled with another servant that gives defensive buffs can give the team some sustain.

leonardo luiz lima the fact that it only works for 1 hit is also an issue cuz if your fighting 2 bosses then your just fucked and not only that unless you decided to bunker down hard then the dmg cut on her np is basically useless and even then waver and Merlin can offer better defensive options at that point

@@unkindled6410 Well, not really. David is a cheap Servant able to provide one-hit party wide defense. On the higher end of things, there's Merlin and as you said, Jeanne. Waver and Mash are also able to effectively nullify all but the hardest hitting attacks.

@@MrZeSpy david doesnt have the same utility skadi has, i never count merlin for any power comparisson in the game because of how much of a bullshit design of throwing balance out of the window he is, and jeanne (unfortunately) doesnt bring much to the table except her NP, which is a VERY good NP, but she has like, 1 and a half skill basically. (Hopefully she gets a buff to one of her skills, the second one preferebly on this years aniversary) also one more point: both merlin and david AOE defenses are on skill cooldowns, since jeanne's and skadi's are NPs, provided you can charge them, you can use them more often, and prisma cosmos exists.

I've been through a lot these past few months during quarantine, my phone barely survived its recent damage, and been saving up tickets and SQs all while skipping banners, so I'm hoping the gacha gods would be merciful to me and Skadi gives me a chance. Honestly I’m a bit conflicted on whether to roll for her or wait until the Zero rerun for yet another try at Waver. Skadi would be nice to have of course, but Waver is all around more useful to me, and I’m a bit concerned that the influx of Skadi’s is going to dominate the support list, making Waver/Merlin increasingly hard to find when I need them the most.

@@pforgottonsoul Not really. It depends on what you want to do. If you want to loop, then you need Dantes, Atalante, Zerkerlot, or Parvati. Preferably at NP2+. There are a few others who can loop with her too, but you need a native Waver and/or MLB scope. If you want to play "normally", she still provides a considerable boost to all Quick servants, but her kit as a whole is less comprehensive and useful than Merlin's or Waver's. In other words, she has three states; she is either a looping meme goddess if you are a whale, a great support if you are a veteran or a dolphin, and really hard to fully utilize if you are F2P or have bad luck.

Dantes, Atalante, and Parvati can work without Superscope, while with Zerkerlot, the limiting factor is the NP level, as he doesn't hit hard enough at NP1 to get a good overkill refund. That said, if one has a native Waver too, then they can abuse his battery for perfectly consistent looping, it will just take longer, because it requires plugsuit switching.

Skadi has targetable np charge and quick buff making units a walking nuke, helps Quick aoe farming units loop like arts looping teams, Debuffs the enemy defense, team evade on her NP, An S tier support unit, and all wrapped up in a much more moe waifu version of Scáthach. Lots SQ stashes and wallets will die when her banner is up.

@@cyrrus6062 Osakabehime is pretty bad right now. However, once her two strengthening quests arrive, she becomes the premiere crit-support in the game. Her main weakness is that right now all of her support capability is in her NP. This means that you either need to use her facecards, which cuts into your damage output, or you would have to use supports to help her generate NP, which is pretty silly. I mean, who heard of a support that requires support? Once her upgrades arrive, she is still going to be pretty reliant on her NP, but at that point it actually provides a decent heal and both Quick and Buster support, plus her Crit support is tied to her skill, resulting it always being active 3 out of 5 turns. As for how to use her, the main idea is to run her with quick damage dealers, and try to use her Arts cards in Arts Chains to charge her NP. Then the question becomes when you want to use her NP in a chain. If you want to NP nuke, use her NP before the others to give them that 30% Quick/Buster boost. If you want to focus on facecard and crit damage instead, use her NP last in a chain for a 40% boost and combine it with her crit steroids for a ton of follow-up damage. To be serious though, the only time you should be bringing her to the fray should be in Lv80+ Rider nodes, where a stray crit can take out the usual support casters. Outside of that niche, Osakabehime is not particularly amazing, but at least she has a niche of her own.

Just a note. On 11:52, MHX is definitely one to consider as well given that she has the highest # of hits ST Quick NP in the game (12). After Saber Wars II the effective 40% ATK up + her remarkable internals will make her a very good choice for boss killing.

These are just few quick points to keep in mind, mainly for newer players. Double Skadi is an S rank, a single Skadi isn't really that great. If you can't take double Skadi don't bother with her(there are some exceptions). Do Not Roll for her if you are new, save for Waver in September: he will be way more useful to you. Skadi falls off hard when taken out of a Quick team. Skadi is a Quick support first and for most and does little for other servants, she's not like Merlin or Waver who can support anybody. Skadi looping is not very free-to-play friendly: Your servants needs to be somewhere between NP2-NP5 (varies from servant to servant) and some need double Skadi's+Waver. Don't get me wrong i'm not trying to tell you Skadi is garbage, she's just not for new players or players who do not have multiple Quick servants with mid-to-high NP levels. And if you do roll for her and do not get her, don't sweat it. The game doesn't become unplayable if you don't have her.

I really appreciate that you where honest with your thoughts, many have said that she is absolutely god tier ( paired correctly she is) and pointed out what the problem that some people will have with her, if they were expecting a better all purpose servant. This is a bit late but I just had an revelation about Parvati's and possibly Valyrie's hidden Skadi potential. I have tested this with NP4 Parvati but I do not have Valkyrie at all. Since they both have a means to return 10 additional percent per wave they can actually 3 turn quests where both waves 1 and 2 have only 2 enemies. You need mlb kscope and waver. Since they will naturally begin waves 2 and 3 with some percent over 30% you can replace the Skadi whose battery you use on turn 2 with waver. FInish charging with Waver's 2nd and 3rd skill. Then on wave 3 use the other Skadi's charge with waver's first skill. I don't know if this is a well known strategy. I haven't seen it and only hear that wave's with two enemies prevent skadi looping, but I have tested this strategy in the lostbelt 2 free quests and can confirm it works!

I'm happy that got her, still I'm going for Arts Teams and it's a little difficult now with a lot of Skadi on the friend support when I needed Tamamo. And I don't have that many Quick servants but I still Np2 Lancelot which I already using in farming with a Kscope and Mage Association then with Riders in use Marie, Astolfo, Rider Ishtar and Achilles then with Atalante I already also using and Fran after I have leveled and skills raising.

If I may add, another funny weakness from her is the ridiculous upkeep to make the 3T meme relevant. Im talking about Kscope and for better efficient farming, Whalescope. JP and NA blew her effectiveness out of proportion without clearly mentioning those two Oh and a limited SSR like Dantes, high NP lvl (Np3+) for zerkalot, Ata and Parvati too

I can tell you from experience, Achilles is crazy strong when paired with her, they are my to go servants when there's a challenge quests.

Nice video! Just to add: If player has taunt CE, there are servants for creating a buff chain with Double Skadi, such as Isthar Rider, Nero Bride, Paracelsus, WuZeTain.

Thanks for the review. I didn't really care about her because my main and alt don't have any Quick servants, except Tristan and Ushi. Then the Singularity F Anniversary fight happened. None of my servants could kill her, so I decided to give her a try. Hahaha, what a joke. That fight became a meme. Tristan was spamming huge NPs while both his dodge skill and Skadi's NP made Salter's NP a non-issue. So I rolled for her. I didn't expect anything, since I went through around 300-400 SQ for no Okitan on my main. And she came in 120. I can't wait to max skill her and cheese with Quick teams.

WOO got skadi in my last multi summon, finally my quick team is acceptable parvati for farming, kintoki for single target destruction, chu chulain for survivability, hessian lobo when im in a good mood and dont want to change units because of class disadvantages (yes probably underpowered but just my personal favorite because lobo is one of the not humanoid servants)

All my SQ went for Okitan, well i'm glad Okitan came to my Chaldea, but with the free SQ from Anniversary, i hope i also get Skadi XD But what exciting me the most is the GSSR, because this year is my first GSSR purchase and i'm going to pick caster class because i don't have Merlin/Waver/Other good buffers at them moment! Since you didn't mention her, Atlanta (Archer) can work as a farmer. High hit count and a skill that increases NP gain.

This is way far ahead of a spotlight but it's still better than later. I have a lot of tickets to spare for Skadi. If I got her it's great but if not I will roll for Skadi next year as I'm rolling for mostly Arts NP servants this year for forming Arts teams with Tamamo with Waver. Then I sill have Osakabehime for Quick and Merlin from a friend's support for Buster to buff my other servants.
