Np upgrade that on top of giving him the standart damage increase, also improves his NP damage OC to be 30% at base and adds a star bomb alongside Threat to Humanity SE please....

Arthur was actually my first SSR. And I didn't even know there was a male version of his character in the game! I was so surprised that I dove into Fate/Prototype's lore and grew to love Arthur's personality despite his obvious weaknesses gameplay-wise. I really hope someday he gets a bigger role to play as I really want my blonde boy to get the respect he truly deserves!

I have him np2 lvl 100 2k fou’ed 😊so I’m always happy to see an upgrade to him. I just wish we’d get story for him in Fgo or a game for his OG story … in English anyways. Until then I think np2 is good enough!

Arthur is one of the reasons why I started fgo in the first places. He's 100 with 2k 2k so it hurts me to see that he still not that great. I got low key hope that lasagne didnt forgot their posterboy and give him a Np interlude and maybe someday a good battery

I have him at np 5. I just wanted one of him initially when I was starting out but got three of him in one pull then two more on separate pulls. He’s not perfect but the dude has more than pulled his weight for me.

In spite of the 'hot' game-breaking targets (in a burst dmg & fast clear enabler context) such as vitch, oberon, and castoria (for many who haven't got her yet), I found myself rolling for arthur eventhough I have his role filled already (mordred, artoria, altera). Man's has great design, always thought it would be cool to have him and I got him. Now that he might not be that useful in bursting hardhit nps like his peers, but you should not really sleep off on that self-sustain dps kit of his (3t all of 50 buster up, 30 np gain, crit damage up, and 30 star bomb). All I can tell you is that just GOD DAYUM when I tested him. He is just really fun to use, and would be even more if he got np upgrade. I love having him in my account.

while he REALLY needs an NP buff both for numbers and effects, I also like the idea going around of buffing his third skill so that it lets you chose to make his np either Single target or AoE to let him exceed in his giant killer niche, adding the threat against humanity to the giant mod thats already there for lore sake

I pretty much agree with your opinion. He needs either an NP upgrade OR either a way to consistently generate and absorb crit stars (without depeding on Koyan/Merlin/Hans). He can Farm and he can Crit but he's not excellent in any of both fields. It's sad to see that in gameplay Arthur so outshadowed by his female version, because he's a very charismatic characer, and in Lore they should be more of less tied in power.

Arthur should be even stronger than Artoria, his Excalibur with only 7 of the seals removed, already destroyed Proto Gil's Enki, while Artoria's Excalibur got smacked by Gil's ea like a knife through butter. And for some reason Excalibur Proto is both an EX rank np that goes beyond the territory of anti-fortress while Artoria's is stuck at A++ and being anti-fortress at best

@@Gurkan790 EX is no stronger than A++. Ex means it cannot be measured. Babbage's NP is classified as EX and it's description literally says that it has the firepower power of an NP rank C. I the case of EA is because it's conceptual properties (anti-world) which doesn't affect alien beings (represented in FGO due to the fact it doesn't deal extra damage to the star attribute). In the Case of Proto Arthur it may be because of it's anti-beast properties. But no, by any means it's because it's stronger or because he released more seals (which is unknown because it have never been officially stated how many can Saber release).

@@Gurkan790 Regardless, Artoria is also able to unleash an unknown amount of seals of Excalibur (as stated in her interlude in FGO, in which she voluntarily releases 2 seals). It have never been officially stated how many seals she can release. So saying "Arthur releases more seals than Artoria" is pure headcanon and speculation until there is any official information about it. Also you're talking about Fate route, in which Artoria is heavily nerfed in all of her parameters (including NP) due to having Shirou as a master. And even with such heavy nerf, she soloed a 100% serious Gilgamesh thanks to Avalon.

It represents something that falls outside of the numerical ranking scale, a value that cannot be quantified under the normal system because it is in a league of its own, powerful to the extent of rendering *comparisons* meaningless" It's also said that an C rank noble phantasm is equally as strong as an A rank normal attack (like Vasavi Shakti). So yeah and as far as I remember the ranks are also ranking the heat value of said noble phantasms but don't quote me on that. And again Artoria's np is anti-fortress at it's peak (since nothing more on information is given) while Arthur's with only 6 released is already classified as anti-fortress np and at 7 it even surpasses anti-fortress territory. The two things I can kinda give you is that Artoria has her seals (which still doesn't indicate anything of how close she is to Arthur, since she has no real feats yet) and that she was heavily nerfed during the fifth holy grail war BUT her NP remains the same at A++ (even if she has Rin as her master in F/SN or Fujimaru in fgo). While her stats are lower, he NP didn't change a bit she could still use Excalibur at full power but only once with Shirou as her master and twice with Rin. "at least Small Island level with uncharged Ea (is more than a match for Saber's full powered Excalibur, also destroyed Rider's Reality Marble);" -Gilgamesh's profile from his materials and there are 3 other descriptions of ea that say it's either on par or straight up surpassing Excalibur. At the end of the day it was mostly Avalon that completely carried Artoria Anyway that's my take on it

@@Gurkan790 I remind you Artoria's Excalbur is the same Excalibur that one-shotted Sefar, the "original timeline" Excalibur. Sefar, the same being that easily defeated Amaterasu, Shiva and the Twelve Olympian Machine Gods. Which is the reason why Altera is so heavily scared of Artoria in the Fate/Extra Saga whenever she sees her. And again, saying "Arthur can release X amounts of seals" means nothing when nobody knows how many seals Artoria can exactly release, and guesing numbers is pure speculation.

Having 50% mana burst at 3 turns is really terrifying isn’t it? They decreased every mana burst to 30% in order to make it a 3 turns. However, yeah his np is still really weak, he desperately needs np interlude, or at least 30% np buff on his third skill for 3 turns to make his damage do something

I just got him from the GSSR. I somehow missed/forgot about his buffs so this helped me feel better about getting him. I guess i can see a use for him since many events have a big ghost as a boss, or there's a big dragon/snake/winged snake as a mini boss in a farming node so his anti super large will help there. But like.... 20% charge though. If it was at least 30% he could be used with double Koyan/Oberon looping more easily...

I sacrifieced 120 Sq for another Copy of Outrage and got him. He is decent, but nothing compared to Ibuki or Artoria. But iff He gets a strong NP Interlude He could become comparable.

His 3rd skill needs to be buffed to a 30% battery for sure. Personally i think his power mod should be moved to his NP and instead tack on an attack buff, like a 30% ATK up for himself. While his NP should definitely do more damage, have that giant enemy power mod, and maybe even add a threat to humanity/beast enemy power mod as well

arthur is good, but because ibuki does basically the same, thing he is just an ibuki who can't farm, and doesn't hit as hard. Still an np buff is all he needs at minimum, and if they buff his skill 3 i think he'd be perfect.

I highly doubt anyone would be rolling for him right now on NA... not with Morgan, Meluko, Castoria the reckoning, Chihuahua, Oberon, Kama and the other Chihuahua coming soon. I mean even the other banners between this and Morgan's seems more interesting with servants like Amakusa, Kiara Summer, Galatea, Vlad or even Bride. The fact that you can get a better and prettier buster AoE Saber for free, either Seiba or Moedred on anniversary relegates Arthur to Husbando roll... for a character that, while pretty, doesn't have so much to sustain himself for character depth nor story. Kinda sad.

She does everything that he does, but better. Her NP has better dmg and effects. Better battery. Better crit dmg. (both got 50% crit up, but she has more steroids that complement it) Better farmer (though artoria is still better at it than both of them). Higher atk stat. Higher normal card dmg, especially on buster due her passives. Better survival (30% def up while he's got nothing). Better passives. A more accessible niche than him due to summer wu (though not very practical tbh). Aside from destroying super large enemies, there isn't a situation where he is better than her, be it farming, challenge quests or dealing crit dmg. May change in a future update though.
