You can notice when he moved the cruiser back from the suspect vehicle to get away from fire and siren kicked back on since he was out of *"P".* 9:06 Latest police equipment is very capable. To the point where it is hooked up to a vehicle computer to monitor the status of all related vehicle equipment and react accordingly. Like kill siren when in park or shut off the driver side lights when driver's door is open and so on.

Almost every siren currently manufacturered has park kill capability, it's lazy upfitters who don't bother to hook it up.

It's an automatic feature on modern systems, but even then it depends on if it's equipped with a modern system or if it's an old recycled system, or if it's a new system that was never hooked up correctly. Anything from 2015-ish on back is more miss than hit on whether or not they have auto-shut-off. If you watch old police footage from when Impalas and Crown Vics were the standard cop car, every chase would end with every single car's siren going off until everyone got the chance to run back and shut them off.

As a Florida resident, I'm really glad the FHP caught these guys. I hope the driver does serious jail time. He risked so many people's lives it's hard to believe no one was seriously injured. @@nickford5549 That is all a cop is doing, bring you before the court. The court within 24 hrs decides what assurances are needed for a person to show up and respond to an allegation. That is when a bond is set if needed to make sure a person shows up for court and that person doesn’t have to wait before the court has time for your trial. It use to happen very quickly, and the proper hangings were done within hours of being presented in front of a judge (court).

I used to work for the Leon County Sheriffs Office out there in Tallahassee. The roads can be brutal with not a lot of room to navigate through traffic. Worked with FHP almost daily and have mad respect for them. Not surprised by how well they pursued this suspect. Total professionals.

Yeah, just saw that at the end. Looks like an AEM or K&N. Actually the 3.5L V6 Nissan engine makes pretty decent power, around 270 bhp, those intakes do add some decent power. In any case, should have stopped. Now car is wrecked and he has another felony his record.

That dumb suspect decided to flee at the worst possible moment, already had 3 state troopers within sight in broad daylight and actually thought he’d get away. By the time he was pitted 5 other troopers had showed up. In Arkansas, it would be only one trooper for miles of countryside doing all the work alone.

7:18 that hit to the curb then the awesome maneuvering to keep pulling, I was like wow. Proceeds to see car coming from the right, thinks to myself dang that random person is crazy, maybe its an unmarked cop car. Cop pits car, realizes it's the car from the beginning. That was intense.
