2 Taramps Bass 8Ks each at 0.7 ohm aiming to clamp 10kW. It's best to have more than enough power then to not have enough. Especially because we all know we're all going to upgrade someday. This will save you from having to buy new amps. Plus reduce chance of clipping by never needing to overwork amp(s), as long as your voltage remains healthy.

@robertdavidson5903 the sp4 are excellent subwoofers i was running the sp4 15s on a 4rth order but i wanted more cone area that is why I bought the 4.11 18s and i built a 6th order to be more windy and musical. I like the 4.11 neo. They can handle way more power i order mine with the omega voice coil and 1 extra spider. 👍🔈🔊🔊

Plus they smell good! LoL Unlike my Skar DNR which put out a pungent coil glue smell whenever pushing it above maybe 50% of it's rated power. I'm not knocking the DNR because that single 15" with an undersized port area so far still out meters these TWO 15" Fi Neo 4.11s. However, I guarantee these Fi subs will break the 150 dB mark with doubling the port area and becoming broken in. Oh plus once I'm actually clamping their rated power. That'll be my next video, clamp time for comparison before and after lithium.

I wouldn't go with 4.11 (4in coil) if have only one 8K amp. Each 4.x may need an 8K if you want the most out of your subs. Fi 3.x would be better, (4in coil requires more power) which I believe the DB4515R is as well. Put a lot of time, research and effort into the enclosure and electrical.

@lowhertzhighspl 2 жыл бұрын
8?! Damn. I originally choose Team v2 when they gave me the choice of v2 or v3 but then 3 months into the build I switched to Neo 4.11 and man I'm glad I did. The original enclosure had ports that were like 36" each side but port area was half as what it needed to be. The enclosure I built uses 16in² per NET cu ft vol. and 25" length tuned to the subs exact Fs 34.6 Hz. I'd love to get 2 more and turn it into a wall but tbh I don't think I wanna put more money into it bcuz once I go lithium I'll have $10,000 in car audio product in it. Not to mention hundreds of hours researching designing installing tweaking etc but that's the best part imo. Not the competing although that's fun too except for the long drives. How many watts you gonna provide each sub? I wouldn't exceed 7,500w if using 3ft³-4ft³ per sub. Or go with 5ft³ per sub (if feasible) and so you'll need is 4,500w each. Plz keep me updated! I love Fi builds!

How are those subwoofers holding up on those taramps?
@lowhertzhighspl
@lowhertzhighspl Жыл бұрын
Great match! 0.7 ohm and periodically checking for gain walk and ensure no clipping. Fi subs are the real deal. If I would do it over again I wouldn't go with Taramps bcuz on the oscilloscope the peak of the wavelength looks like a snowcapped mountain. That can't be ideal. But I don't clip these subs so.. all is good. Currently have them inverted which dropped the Fs by 1Hz. But had to turn down the LC7i gains because apparently inverted need less power.

@lowhertzhighspl
@lowhertzhighspl Жыл бұрын
No. Go with one ohm because Fi's one ohm is actually 0.7 ohm whereas half ohm is actually 0.35 ohm! Make sure you're electrical is more than enough otherwise when wired below one ohm you will clip your sub and kill it without plenty of batteries and alts. Clipping is killing. I suggest XS Power Super Bank Capacitor. I use their 1500f one SB1500-75 plus 2 XS Power LTO batteries. Plus I charge at 15.5V. I see Limitless Lithium now has their Gorillas in stock! (For 15.5V setups). If I didn't already have $3,000 in XS Power batteries, personally I'd try LL Gorillas along with their super cap under the hood. Super caps are important for competing. So is lithium!

@lowhertzhighspl
@lowhertzhighspl 3 жыл бұрын
Depends on several factors. Nowadays typically I'd expect 3 months (90 days) due to stimulus money being spent left and right. My first Fi subs Team took 2-3 months. The 4.11s took 3-4 months due to an order change. I don't think anyone receives them in 45 days but either pay a lot more for Sundown or PSI or Crossfire, or Deaf Bonce, and possibly get them a month sooner or save a few hundred and wait the extra month which allows time to perfect your setup. Plan build it all except the sub install. If everything is already to go, then make it better while waiting. My point is.. Fi is worth the wait!

What's the peak power on these ?
@lowhertzhighspl
@lowhertzhighspl 2 жыл бұрын
A lot! But "peak" wattage doesn't mean much. I would presume they can handle 7,500 W each for a CONTINUOUS burp or pounding. But all depends on size of enclosure and port area and cone size (12" vs 21"). If large enclosure with large port area it'll be closer to 5k whereas with smaller enclosure and tighter port area it could be more than 10kW. Most continuous power (3 to 5 second burp) I've fed them with (BEFORE impedance rise) was 22,000, whereas with box rise it was 13,000 W combined but this was on inadequate electrical. Again that is not the peak wattage, but is what I clamped BEFORE I switch over to lithium. To determine true peak handling I would need an SMD tool to show me what the split second peak is. Not just a few seconds burp. Based on all this I would guess the split second peak peak would be closer to 20,000 Watt for EACH sub! These subs are tanks based on what I've seen. I'll be posting more videos with higher power this SPL season. Going Lithium. Might even try wiring down to 0.35 😬

Guys to develop superpowers, protect yourself from other people's bad energies, the devil and eye hallucinations, you need to train your body physically like crossfit with work on boxing bags, then bad energies and black dust from bionanorobots (sometimes transparent, but it is still visible as distortions in the air with the feeling of a transparent gel around in space) will not be able to cling to your body and nerves of the eyes and you will not see and feel pain, you need to train all muscle groups so that there are no weak spots and mentally imagine how you tear apart the pain and the picture in front of your eyes with your hands, also imagine how this dust burns up turning into emptiness in this way, you mentally destroy this shit this is the beginning of super strength, exercising and fantasizing, you can develop other superpowers in yourself, but for each person individually, it will be easier to get some kind of strength (The principle of work is in the transformation of physical strength into mental strength). Also, minimize the amount of food, it is best to eat rice cooked in water like the Shaolin monks, hunger and a minimum of different flavors, you will redirect the energy from the digestion of food by the stomach to the strength you want! Another tip is to eat lemons or citric acid - (0.5-1 spoon / l dry with at least 3 cups of water, it's easier to drink and a large amount of water will reduce the overall acidity - my record is 5 spoon / citric acid per day) this will speed up your metabolism and protect against poisons, spoiled food and metal salts, if you have any questions, ask!
