Incredible stuff. The contrast of calmness inside the car and speed on the outside is marvellous. I wouldn't think it was possible to drive that fast down some of those small lanes, with crests, poles, fences. Kudos to the co-driver. Brilliant all round,

Having to regularly drive those roads this made me feel genuinely sick. The speed is so much more tangible when you know the real difference. Off the top of my head that journey would normally take about 45 minutes. Even if I dared to drive as fast as I could i'd probably only get it down to 30...

You'll have to hit it flat to the headlight that's yer problem there 😂

@@samueldorrington8990I towed our caravan down half of that stage on the friday, watched it live on the Sunday and towed the caravan back down the stage on the monday, what took us 20-25minutes from the school/devils bridge to the hairpin left took Jon less than 3minutes! This is why we love rally it's insane how fast they can go!

Brilliant driving and no one watching it ?. The disconnect between rallying and the public is complete and total. Changed times from the glory days of Vatanen and the like ?.

It's not just this event, the organisers have gone big time overkill with spectator safety in the BRC & ERC! No I don't want to be touching the cars but being forced to view the cars from a quarter mile away on a non dangerous part of the stage is rediculous. The only event for me that's gone against this trend of "pay to stay half a mile away" is the malcom wilson rally, we did 2 stages both in spectator areas, free to enter & stood about 10feet away from the cars coming out of the hairpins, absolute brilliant event & had the most spectators iv seen in a long time.
