Great ideas ..When my children were little I let them decorate the tree anyway they wanted too and they wanted colored lights and when the graduated highschool and moved out I did the tree the way I wanted to buy I let my kids be part of the whole tradition as I did when I was little and wanted to pass that down as a family tradition and they are grown now and that's what they remember and talk about and my son does the same for his 2 little boys..

The table turned out so well. I have recently started using a dropcloth for a tablecloth. It has that “linen” look for less than $10! And if something gets spilled on it, it doesn’t really matter. I can then just use it for its intended purpose and buy a new one. 😉 Your Christmas colors are rich and beautiful. Well done.

Love, love what you do! For easy, changeable framed Christmas pictures I use Christmas gift box tops. I slip them over my already framed pictures. The box tops sometimes have the same theme. If you put 4 tops over a large framed picture it looks pretty cute!

I’ve seen tree collars that come in pieces that link together to put away easy. I stack wreaths inside mine, use a trash bag and then put the whole thing in my storage room.

Hey there! We actually used At Ease by Provenza. We LOVE it and it has been holding up great!

We used: Harbinger Craftsmen - colour "Tavern Bourbon" HCP 99088H That was 12 years ago (Canada)...but it is in great condition, other than where the boys dropped a tv screen on it, in the foyer...we love it, so easy to keep clean, and holds up well; tip: buy the best quality that you can afford, as flooring is walked on every day..,put the money where things are touched (cabinet pulls, door handles and knobs, flooring...etc.).

Please do not iron on top of a table UNLESS you have a pad underneath to absorb the heat and/or steam if you have your iron on steam setting, whether it's real wood or faux wood. NOT GOOD FOR THE FINISH ON THE TABLE and if you get it on your tablecloth, it's throw out time, you won't be able to remove the gunk and you could ruin the finish on your table.
