So I’ve been a decorating thrifter for at least 30 years! We’ve flipped houses and I stage them with thrifted pieces as well. I can say for sure that I have never thought about a tile on top of a small table! Genius! Love your videos!

I’m team both! Thrift store first and I’ll only go to Home Goods if I can’t find what I’m looking for. Also, Home Goods had the best prices on glassware such as vases, etc.

Love your channel, and your crazy-good decor dupe skills!! I 100% agree with you on HG's throw pillow selection being sub-par. It seems like most of what they carry went out of style years ago - unless you're over 70ish, that's a hard no, especially for the price. I have way too many throw pillows, so I'm trying to explore zippered covers, but sadly Amazon is the only 'store' that seems to carry them - and the selection is minimal. Maybe that's a hidden niche market for anyone with sewing skills?!

Another option is consignment shops. I’ve found some amazing bargains at our local one, like a Stickley end table, which goes for about $800, we got for $175.

Team thrift all the way. At least for most decor things. Although I totally wish my local Goodwill got some clearance Target stuff like yours does cause that is definitely not the case everywhere 😅 But I can't complain, I did find a really good condition neutral and stylish Crate & Barrel king duvet set with 4 pillow shams as well in my local Goodwill. Think I paid like $8 for the set... I also found a beautiful handcrafted wooden rocking horse for my daughter's nursery for $12 a few years back... On and on. I've been blessed with some great finds.

I like all of the stores you recommend with the exception of Hobby Lobby. Please do not endorse this scandal-ridden, hypocritical, criminal enterprise. A simple search of the company will reveal what I’m speaking of. There are many other craft stores to recommend which do not bear the negative stigma.
