I’m married to a black woman from 🇹🇹. Last night I helped her wash her hair and dry it. It takes hours to do but I love her and I don’t complain and I enjoy helping her. She always feels so much better after a hair wash. Black hair care is so much different then white hair care. It requires a lot of patience and love.

I think it’s lovely you learnt how to take care of your sisters hair 💖
@chrism92944 жыл бұрын
@Laura I’m glad you learned and helped keep your sister’s hair done. Idk why some of the comments come off as discrediting the ease in which you do YOUR SISTER’S hair especially since anything you’ve had a lot of practicing doing will get easier and become easy. Also just because your sister is biracial doesn’t mean her hair isn’t natural nor does it mean that she automatically has the perceived mixed girl/easier to deal with hair. I know plenty of mix people with hair that takes more time to manage than non mixed black people. You never know what hair you’ll get being mixed. However, most of the non mixed black people that I know do have to put in more time and care than most other people. But, at the end of the day, practice and experience do help. I’m glad you’re good at doing your sister’s hair because I’m only mediocre at doing my own hair.
@lauraswan86474 жыл бұрын
@Monica Jones my sister has very very coarse hair. She doesn't have wavy hair, or however you're saying. It's easy for me because I remember instruction pretty fast and I am very good with my hands; my Asian friends also instructed me what to do. I love this quality time & all-around education of disabilities, black culture, & everything that y'all experience personally & together. Maybe I can educate anyone that doesn't know this, but most "standing" showers have floors that are built downward/concave, in hopes to keep the water from going out & damaging the floors. If the water were able to get out, not only could it damage floors, but also the baseboards, walls, etc. So it's generally better to not create a flat surface in your "standing shower."
