Una vettura sportiva italiana degli anni '70 torna a nuova vita dopo un difficile restauro. Seguiamo la rinascita di questa Fiat 128 3p che per tanti anni era rimasta esposta alla pioggia e alle intemperie, ma le cure del restauratore Vito Brunetti la riporteranno all'antico splendore.

Lo avuta pure io era la sport 1300 del 1973 era molto brillante, il cambio non era granché pecato che non avesse la quinta marcia

All'epoca la quinta marcia non era prevista su molti modelli, anzi ci sono parecchi casi in cui il gruppo motore-cambio veniva ereditato da nuovi modelli di auto aggiungendo gli ingranaggi della quinta marcia esternamente alla campana del cambio (in una scatola a sè), proprio per continuare ad utilizzare la campana precedente. In effetti sia la SL che la 3P erano così brillanti da sentire quasi il desiderio di una quinta marcia. Il boom delle quinte marce si avrà ad inizio anni '80, e le 128 ricadono in un periodo di passaggio tra una filosofia a 4 marce e una a 5. Ad ogni modo, si tratta di un motore che ha fatto la storia e ha la fama di essere indistruttibile, detto da un famoso preparatore di auto da corsa.

Bravo, Bravo !! 👏👏 With the way that he was going at it with the screwdriver to the rust I feared that he would punt this project to the breaker yard! My 1976 3p succumbed to rust in mid-1988 due to rust under the front clip. I'd heard rust was due to cheap steel that was sold by the USSR to Fiat with no undercoating. Salted roads of NJ ate up my car before I ever got it. Great video! I used to have pictures of my blue flea until I went away to school and my sister cleaned out my room 😡. I should have taken up welding!

Steel is steel, without coating it gets into rust. Maybe what you heard about russian supply is true, I really don't know it. I only know that the Alfasud was very easy to make rust because in the 70s the production at Alfa Romeo Plant - Pomigliano d'Arco (Naples) was often stopped because of several strikes, and the waiting chassis were exposed to a early oxidation. About Fiat, I don't think they used a worse steel than Mercedes Benz. But for sure in the 70s they only used treatments based on paints. Starting from the Fiat Uno, all Fiats had galvanizing treatment. Probably also the very last 128 3Ps (around 1978-79). The Fiats sold in Northern Europe, with salted roads problem, were better coated than the others sold in the south. However, this car was exposed to rain for its whole lifetime, and the major issues were inside the chassis where the water penetrated and stagnated. It was painted black (originally it was light green) by a bodyshop where they didn't treat correctly the body. Now it is finally protected and will never rust as in this video.

Me too, in mid-1982 🤗 !! 1976 3p in blue 1300. Named "The Flea" by my dad's boss, derogatorily. Cost me and my parents $2K from a used car lot in California.

@@anderslarsson6149 Good deal for you! I recall adding a nice $150 stereo below the flat rectangle panel on the right side and that's exactly where the rain water came in ☹️. Car was a money pit.

Grazie a te Stefano. Tieni conto che la vettura protagonista del programma era stata parcheggiata per 43 anni all'aperto, in più gli interventi di ripristino della carrozzeria erano stati effettuati in maniera molto discutibile, con tanto stucco che ha permesso all'ossidazione di progredire inesorabilmente. Forse la tua è più fortunata a tale riguardo, inoltre la meccanica si è dimostrata robusta e affidabile, cosa che è senz'altro rassicurante data l'età. In bocca al lupo!

La voilà la même que ça j en est eux 3 deux rouge une bleue la première une 1100cc la 2eme 1300cc abarth rouge commende spécial la bleue une 1100cc simple mais c était un avion avec peut de choses bon c est vraie la ferraille était pas terrible mais ça va j ai vues pires sur alfa sud 😂❤
