Thank you for this video; it made the replacement of my DRL/turn signals (the turn signals are part of the DRL in the US) a very easy job (except that I did it in the hot Texas sun). My US spec 500 also has small marker lights in the fender well on the rear of the bumper fascia; I had to disconnect those too. Also, my car has fog lights. I forgot to disconnect those but here was enough slack in the wiring that I was able to change out the DRL/turn signals without disconnecting the fog lights (but if I did it was only one connector which went to both sides).

How possible is it to replace the wiring inside the housing or should I replace the whole thing? The wires inside have corroded and they are creating a short.

it can be solved, but it would be easiest to replace everything. anyway

I bought new DRL/turn signal assemblies for less than US$90 delivered for both sides. It included bulbs and all the wiring inside. It was just the one connector per side as shown on the video.

So the only way to remove, or fit a missing screw holding the driving lights on would be to remove the whole bumper ? 😳

I just watched another video where the guy turned the wheel to expose the front wheel well. He popped off a plastic cover, pulled the bulb out and replaced it.
