Fiat 500 Pop 2015 Sony DAB DSX-A510BD stereo upgrade with wiring etc

Decided to do a video whilst fitting the new sony stereo in my 500 pop 2015 base model fiat. The whole system with wiring, aerial , dash surround, removal tool etc and shipping was just 144 quid from dynamic sounds, london sw18, the system is sony dsx a510bd and it’s really worthwhile, cheers to them very helpful and fast shipping they’re at dynamicsounds.co.uk

quick update to the video, i didn't bother fitting an inline fuse because i will never use the ciggy lighter socket as a lighter , just a 12v outlet so I downgraded the already low fuse to 3amp. had fun on this upgrade and to be honest the standard speakers are more than capable for my use, sound great.

The DAB aerial.. The L shape part of the sticky needs to be touching the A pillar metal frame to ground it. That's why they're always tucked tight to the A pillar.

no idea, works fine as it is. you always see them tucked in tight so they don't hinder the view. It has it's own built in ground plane which is the other bit coming off it. but, to be fair, I am going to fit an aerial type one to replace the original just not got around to it yet

Hi, did the steering wheel controls carry on working?

this is the basic model so actually doesn't have steering wheel controls to begin with but i can confirm that they do the item you need at extra cost so that the controls do work with the new system, some sort of small interface box. check out their website, it's on there mate
