Many thanks for all the info about Argenta. Very interesting to find out its history. My father had an Argenta VX (bought used in '90) that was produced in '86. Aqua marina met color. Never knew it was so special, top of the range. He kept it another 12 years. Comfortable, quite zippy(for that time) and mechanically reliable. But electronics were not so (centralized door locking, electronic ignition, inside lighting). The equipment was quite avant-garde for that time, even early 90s: electric windows, servo-steering, electronic status display (left), centralized-locking.

Thank you for watching and appreciating this monographic documentary on a controversial car like the Argenta. Here it is not really appreciated, apart from a few true enthusiasts. the first series gave the owners some problems, but the second, like the VX (SX in Italy) was better built, better finished, even if it showed various problems with the electrical system (typical of Italian production of the time) as in the of your father. By the way: thank you for your testimony
