Hi Hubertus, hope you’re keeping well, the last owner said it had a new clutch fitted, but failed to tell me the gear box had issues, luckily it came with a spare box so I fitted that with a new clutch kit while I was it. Still too cold for the garage, hopefully get back in there soon 🤙☘️🍻🇮🇪🇳🇴☘️🥂

what do you have to unbolt to get the transmission out? i wanna buy one with broken trans and there is a new one in the price . can you just take out the trans from underneat or do you have to take a subframe underneat out? can you take out the engine with trans from above?

Hi there Chev, just undo trans mounts and split box from engine, it comes out from the bottom, also engine and box can be taken out together it would appear, I have not had to do this, undo exhaust and cabling ect, and then all mounts, 🤙best wishes buddy 🤙

@@Joesrustbuckets hi mate, just doing mine, i notice there is only about 10mm to the right of the transmision, when spiltting trans from engine is that really enough space to get it off the shaft? surely it has to stay level until its clear then drop trans down? cheers for any coments! Also what about the driveshaft on the other side(drivers) does that need to come off or does it just detach naturaly?

Hey Jo, your a gas man, lol hope you’re keeping well, yeah this was some footage from august after it’s maiden voyage, when it trew fifth gear and reverse out through the side of the box, all sorted now,, though I’d put it up there anyways, impossible to talk when racheting and gunning those studs, take it as an old silent movie 🎥 😜😀😀 too cold for the garage atm but I’ll be back 😜 best wishes buddy, hope the alpha is coming along 🤙☘️🇮🇪🍻
