Fiat punto aux doesn't work

Aux changing back to radio/no source available etc... you can do two things, put a cd in and this will allow you the stereo to detect media an cycle to cd/aux.(stupid but having a cd in works) Second, if its changing from aux to radio after a few seconds. Download a silent mp3 audio file and add it to a USB. Place the USB into the USB slot and this will allow the aux to continue playing. Hope this helps

How do you bypass the cd thing? mine just does the same as the radio. Plays my music using the voice command then goes back to the cd playing

You may try connect d-in to d-out. If this doesn't work, try usign AF- pins instead of aux. I'm NOT responsible for any damage :)

​@@coco_bean0435 the adaptor is pun in the "aux" pins on the radio...that not aux input ,its voice imput. Thats why it works only for a few seconds when u press the windows button. U should coonect the adaptor as the blue plastic ,for AF R and AF L

I carefully used a hacksaw to cut off the bit of the slots without connectors in and bent the 2 pins together highlighted green in frank Mitchell’s instructions, then connected the remaining 3 pin slots into the bit highlighted blue in franks picture

You have the wrong cable! You need the blue one which have a cable bridge on the plug.

Connect d in, d out with jumper you will get aux enabled in player. Latter try aux from pins labeled as aux r, aux l and aux ground. If they do not work connect aux cable from af r af l af groubd these pins are on quite opposite side to where you are connecting now

Have you tried connecting to af r and af l and af ground for aux mine is Delphi 199in don't have d in and d out having ground and +5v in place of din and d out

@@niwe_ Probably the connector's fault. It's either not making contact with the pins on the radio unit (you can see in the video that his slides on too easily) or the the cable is not wired correctly (meaning they mixed up the leads). This happens because the car doesn't have a aux function built in. We are hacking into the out/input from the cars voice command (as called by me) Therefore this has a switching function where input is only taken once the switch is pressed. My car had a USB function. Therefore I had to plug a pendrive inorder to make the car to think audio in inputting. I didn't bother to fix it later. But I believe there will be a method where you could bypass the switching mechanicm manually With some jumpers. Best advice is to test and find it. It would be a good idea to have a multimeter to ensure safety. Good luck
