Is this buffer tube? What do you recommend for slitting buffer tubes. Its my companys first time with it and our tool keeps cutting the strings sometimes.

There is mid span tools for all tube sizes the company jonard will be your cheapest route for the mid span tool when it comes to big ribbon cables tho I would suggest the Corning mid span access tool. Thanks for watching and commenting

Thank you we ordered a jonard slitter and have been having a lot better luck. There were a few tubes where the ofat completely cut the strings and we had to guess, we're used to loose tube fiber, thank you for the tips and tricks
