Fiber Optics Sensing System: A New Technology for Measurement

A research team at NASA’s Armstrong Flight Research Center has developed a revolutionary technology called Fiber Optics Sensing System or FOSS, a system that provides real-time information on structure strain, shape, temperature, and other data used by designers.
